Prologue; the website is not accurate where the menu is concerned. And, if your party is less than six people, do NOT try to sit at the table for six. Prologue is now concluded.
Parking might be tight. Our server was excellent. (Mo) our beverages came pretty quickly. I ordered a beef Philly. Mo asked whether or not I had ever tried a Philly on fries instead of a bun. I had not. So I decided to try that. I’m glad I did. The fries add an unexpected bit of flavor to the meal. I’ll likely do that every time I order a Philly. It’s that good. The place was pretty busy, and it was challenging to visit. I’m pretty sure we will eat there again.

The feel of this bar would keep me coming back on its own. The delicious and meaty Reuben was incredible. Also loved the wings. Small and crisp yet juicy wings. I’ll be back!

In Omaha for business and heard this was the place to go for a Reuben so here I am. This place did not disappoint. Started with the onion pedals and they came in a packed basket!! Then the sandwich came and it was hot, cheesy and stuffed full! Worth the Uber ride from downtown.

It’s a personal favorite for mine on Mondays when they have their burger special. Good beer selection, food, and prices. Parking can be a bit of a mess depending on the day. If you are at the VA or Medical Center you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to unwind and fill up within walking distance.

This little piggy went to market…but the piggy only goes once a week. First come, first served! A hefty pork tenderloin lightly breaded and served with the works: cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun. 14.00
7/10 – Pretty good. Would love a little more seasoning on the meat and breading.
Good fries too. Had a green tea shot that was OK. Will be back to try more stuff.

The shrimp po boy was delicious, stuffed with fresh tomatoes/lettuce & plenty of shrimp. Did not taste greasy or heavy at all & very filling. The curly fries were very tasty & worth the upcharge.

Last weekend we stopped at Barrett’s Barleycorn for the first time so my husband could try Omaha’s “Best” Reuben. He has had them at at least a dozen places in Lincoln and several in Omaha. This one finally lived up to the hype! The meat, sauerkraut, dressing, he loved every bit of it. Best he’s had in Nebraska by a mile!
I ordered a Veggie Philly minus tomatoes. It was good, very generous with filling. The cream cheese was a little too much for me but I get the appeal. Phillies, Reubens, and other sandwiches were leaving the kitchen left and right so this seems to be the place to get them.
We waited about 40 minutes for our food but were told it would be at least that upon entering. There were only a couple of people working the floor but moving non-stop. Very friendly staff even while being slammed!

Just WOW WOW WOW!! I am from Iowa, my wife is from Omaha. We were back for a day wedding and needed to grab a bite after. I did some internet sleuthing and landed on this place. My wife said she had never been but heard it’s really good. Just know after I said we will never visit Omaha again and NOT eat at this place.
We walked in very clean for a bar space. All the staff was friendly, the worked well, together not a single table in there had bad service. We ordered drinks- all were basic but served well- cold lol
THE FOOD! The whole menu looked phenomenal, so many things I want to go back and try. I ended up with the Santa Fe egg rolls and the chicken Philly.
Santa Fe egg rolls- were perfectly crisp and the filling was flavorful and just perfection.
The Philly! I love phillys I get them often but so many places promise a good Philly and you get a mediocre Philly, so I almost didn’t order it because I didn’t want to be disappointed BUT I did order it. IT WAS THE BEST PHILLY OF MY LIFE. It might be the best damn sandwich I have ever had. The marinade was an explosion of flavor, veggies perfectly tender but not mushy, so much cheese, and a little heat. It was so good down to the bun soft but could hold the filling, I am already dreaming of my next visit for this sandwich.
My wife and father in law got fish and chips and both said they were top teir. And they would order them again. My wife is very particular about her fish and chips, so that’s high praise. My mother in law got a Rueben which she loved! They also got breaded mushrooms (not for me) and they said they were very good.
Bonus good spot to watch a game.
I just absolutely fell in love with this place, if in Omaha for any reason, even if just driving through on your way to Colorado this is a MUST!!

I was very very impressed!! Cool little spot with plenty seating. Great bar and the kitchen is in a tiny corner when you first walk in, holy cow the quantity and quality they put out was astonishing!! 3 guys with literally feet to work in just nailing it! The bloody Mary was awesome, a pickle would have set it off! Service was great all around. We had the french dip and the New York club. Probably two of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! They also have a horseradish mayo so good I could eat it with a spoon. I definitely will be back!
