Service is good too.
Monday-Friday 3-5PM is when happy hour is offered for alcoholic beverages and certain appetizers(chicken tenders, nachos, etc).
I have eaten here multiple times and every time I am greeted with both a warm welcome and a great meal.
Denisse was my server and she did everything correctly. She checked on us multiple times during our stay, went over all drink selections(it wasn’t just a “we have Pepsi products”, she went above and beyond even listing off menu drinks like Arnold Palmers they can make). She didn’t pressure us at all, didn’t make us uncomfortable, and was extremely friendly. She also helped us pick the best dessert option I’ve tried so far from this establishment at the end of the meal! Everything you’d want and more.
I ended up ordering the chile rellenos from the à la carte section. Even though they don’t come with meat you can order a side of meat(in my case, I ordered steak), extra cheese, or both! Every visit is tastier than the last. All meals you can request changes/additions and requests are easily met.
For dessert I had a cheesecake chimichanga and it was delivered with the cutest little edible drawing. The perfect end to a perfect night. This place really does go out of their way to make your experience one you will positively remember.
This restaurant offers take out, dine in(indoor and outdoor seating), and delivery(though partners like Grubhub) meal options.
Please support this establishment if you’re thinking about dropping in. Everyone is wonderful and this is definitely a little restaurant you can call home that will have you excited to come back each time.
(The chiles rellenos ordered are a trio with extra cheese from the Al la carte menu paired with a side of steak for anyone looking to order! The steak is cooked perfectly and I personally layer it on top of the dish.)
My wife ordered our family’s dinner and I planned on picking it up on my way home from work. When I arrived at the location, I waited 5 minutes to be greeted, there was no one in sight and when any of the employees would see me, they would just stare and keeping doing what they were doing.
When I was finally greeted, the waitress was nice “initially” and apologized for the wait. As she was handing me my food, she asked me was the meals paid for and I said yes. As I was ready to drive off, she comes out yelling stating I didn’t pay for the food. I told her my wife made the order and that I thought everything was taken care of on the phone. She angrily said “we don’t take payments over the phone!” As a worker of the restaurant, it’s your responsibility to check what the status of the meals are and what’s paid/not paid. How am I suppose to know your procedure? This is only my second time at this location.
So I told her I thought the payment was taken care of and it was no problem; I will come in and pay (it wasn’t a big deal). As I went back into the restaurant I was greeted by another employee named Tatyana (she was great and really helpful throughout the entire situation). When I began to pay for my food, I was told that the employee who caught my attention outside kept saying “I got him!”, which alluded that she actually thought that I was actually trying to steal even though I told her multiple times about the situation.
Fast forward, my family is eating and my son wanted chicken tenders and fries. As he was eating his chicken tenders he found a long piece of hair mid bite on his chicken, mind you he’s only 4 years old. I called the restaurant and talked to Tatyana again and she made sure he received a different order (which was the Mac & Cheese). After getting off the phone with Tatyana, my wife alerted me that she had hair in her rice. Now at this point I am angry and disappointed, this was a waste of my hard earned money.
When I went to pick up my son’s food, I told an employee what transpired with my wife’s food as well. At this point my wife was so disgusted she didn’t want any replacement for her food. I asked the employee if the chefs wear any hairnets or use gloves while preparing the food and I was told no. When I returned to my hotel to give my son his remade food, he showed me he had a long piece of hair in his food. We immediately threw all the food away.
I know this was long winded, but this was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant I’ve ever had and we will never return to this location. Beware ordering food from here because I was told there’s new management, save your money.
The cherry on top was the lighting. Whoever replaced all of the dining room light bulbs to 5000k Daylight. This is supposed to be an inviting warm atmosphere. The lighting is so off color it feels like florescent lights in a office and are both extremely bright and ugly. You will cast a shadow in your booth from the ceiling lights. The booths have individual lamps that look almost off or dim, because the ceiling lights are so bright. It was really awful. Do not recommend this place at all for a nice dining experience. Very sad.
