We came here for dinner and were absolutely delighted. The restaurant was very cozy and beautiful, and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.
We each had a main course and a dessert. Both main courses were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The plates were prepared with love.
The dessert was also absolutely delicious.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. We’ll be happy to come back again.

Wonderful dinner at the Common Man tonight. They were short staffed, but they let us know when we arrived. We enjoyed the wait outside on the river till we could get a table. What stunning location overlooking the rapids! Our excellent cocktail and the gardens and river side table were utterly delightful. Once we got our table inside, Patrick, the manager, came by to check on us. Our server was wonderful, and the food was delicious. We are so lucky to have such a unique and wonderful restaurant in Claremont. A hidden gem.

Ive gone in a few times and their food is good. However the past two times I have ordered and burger I’ve asked for it to be cooked medium and I would get and it would be well done. Not just well done, but it tasted burnt and no moisture to it. I also don’t think the quality of food was worth the price. I got their carrot cake and there was so much walnuts on it not in it but on it that it took away the flavor of carrot cake.

We found this place on accident and it did not disappoint. Restaurant is beautiful inside and outside, great atmosphere. Outside patio is right next to a river and there is a cute waterfall right next to it. The food was great and the services was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. The GM came by our table and checked on us twice throughout our meal, making sure everything was good and thanking us for stopping by. Would definitely go back there again.

The food was very tasty overall. Our only disappointments were that the steaks came out a bit overcooked and the ravioli dish arrived without any ravioli. Even with those issues, we still enjoyed the meal. I really appreciate that they offer a free cheese and crackers buffet, and the complimentary dinner breads are excellent. We would try it again and hope for a little more attention to detail next time.

Grilled peach salad, juicy smokehouse burger, free bread and crackers with different dips at the snack station towards the front. Enjoyed coloring on the paper table cloth while we waited for our food. Solid beer selection. Waitress was awesome. In and out without a wait. Just got done raining or else we would’ve loved to have been able to sit outside the mill building and enjoy our dinner (peaceful pretty view of the river).

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at the Common Man Restaurant in Claremont, NH. The atmosphere of this lovely building, coupled with friendly staff, wonderful service that included a knowledgeable, cheerful server and a visit from the General Manager, added to the overall enjoyment of delectable cocktails and generously portioned well presented, delicious meals. I highly recommend this restaurant .

We love the atmosphere, staff and delicious food. My husband’s cousin is a bartender there. She is a very good bartender and coworker. They were short handed, like everyone these days. They were still friendly , caring and open with us. We love this restaurant! The food and service are very welcoming. Its a treat to eat here!
