Ninja Sushi in Yuma, Arizona, is an excellent spot for fresh, delicious sushi and great service. The atmosphere is amazing; clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff are always professional, I forget our server’s name, but he was totally awesome very knowledgeable of the menu and he always has a positive attitude and friendly, making every visit enjoyable. The food is consistently great, and you can tell they take pride in both quality and presentation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great sushi experience in Yuma.

Our server was fantastic—respectful, attentive, and genuinely fun! He even made a Karate Kid joke while showing our son how to use chopsticks, which had us all laughing. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious—we ordered three and loved every bite. Highly recommend this spot, and we can’t wait to come back!

Ninja Sushi is one of my favorite places to eat. I loved the Japanese ambiance. But if you go to ninja Sushi today after its renovation, you’ll see that it’s a totally new place. There are about 30 TVs and hardly any Japanese decoration. It’s like someone ripped the heart out of this place. Luckily the food is still great. But I really hope that they bring a little of the old Ninja Sushi ambiance back.

This place is a VIBE. Nice setting, lights, good music, everything. The staff is so insanely sweet and polite, and the food was great. I had the shrimp tempura roll and the TNT roll.
I forgot to take a picture before I started eating so I promise there is more pieces in the original rolls than the photo shows I will absolutely be a regular here. Good prices too!

This is not an authentic Japanese place. Questionable anti-sanitary food serving practices.
I asked the server what broth was used for ramen. She didn’t know. The other server didn’t know. The kitchen didn’t know. Then the server brought ramen in a light yellow broth. Was it miso? If it was, it was a very clear liquid, without any miso clouds. Was it made out of powder? The quality seemed very low, on the same level with the Maruchan packets.
Bulgogi wasn’t good, the portion was small and there was no banchan. We asked about gochujang. The server never heard of it. But they had Sriracha.
I had sushi rolls. The amount of raw fish was very small. Wasabi and ginger weren’t on the plate.
When the sushi got served, the server asked if I wanted wasabi and ginger or any sauces. I asked them and unagi sauce. This is what I received, on the picture. I didn’t receive any additional utensils to use my sauces.
The server kept touching my food with her fingers. She brought straws under her armpits. Eww. Eww. Eww.

The food is so good! The sushi and fish is so fresh. Same goes for their hot dishes; the orange chicken is the best! Service was great, all the servers are friendly. My only critique is the interior design; I miss the old atmosphere of a small Japanese restaurant, and now it feels like a sports bar. Otherwise I definitely recommend.

Got Chicken ramen. Was not offered if I wanted it Spicy or not. Got the spicy one. Didn’t like it since I don’t like spicy food. Asked if I could switch it with something I could actually eat. Was told I had to pay the ramen in full since it was brought out. Don’t really understand paying for something I’m not going to eat. Got the chicken fried rice. Tasted really good.

I drove into Yuma from Gilbert, AZ on a late Sunday night. It was around 9:50 PM, and I was starving but didn’t want fast food—I wanted something truly good. I love sushi and I’m pretty picky about it.
I walked into Ninja Sushi knowing they were about to close and let them know my situation: I had just driven in from out of town and totally understood if they couldn’t take a to-go order. They were incredibly kind and told me they’d be happy to prepare something.
The food absolutely hit the spot—fresh, flavorful, and just the way I like it. It was exactly what I needed after a long drive. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day to dine in and try some of their specialty fresh rolls. Once again, the service was excellent and the sushi was delicious.
Thank you, Ninja Sushi, for such a wonderful experience! I truly appreciate your hospitality and highly recommend this place.
