My first time at Cooper’s Hawk. Went with a frequent visitor who knows everyone in the restaurant, so that probably influenced my experience, BUT… Had a really great time! From Chris, the manager, to each and everyone of the servers, they were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Did some wine tasting and the selection was superb. Then, we moved to the bar at the restaurant and had some delicious Lemon-Herb Salmon and pretzel bread. Tasty, warm, soft… A fully sensorial experience.

I’m never disappointed when I visit Cooper’s Hawk! Try to burger this time it was delicious. I couldn’t eat the whole thing. It was so large. The fries were delicious too. Nice variety of choices! I would definitely go back again.

Thank you Santos for your amazing service during my Thanksgiving dinner last night! He kept my wine always full and even though the restaurant was packed, he checked in on us regularly and provided the best experience! I love this location and frequent at least once a month
We ordered the bruschetta, shrimp scampi, the featured surf and turf, creme brulee and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and fresh. My boyfriend’s steak and lobster were both perfectly cooked!

From the moment we sat down, the dining experience was top tier. Our waitress, Anastasia, was very attentive and knowledgeable. She gave us great wine recommendations and was very knowledgeable on all of the wines and the menu. I love how she went above and beyond in our dining experience and made our date night special. Food came out piping hot and was very delicious. Cooper’s Hawk has the best appetizers! I can’t wait to come back to this location and will only request Anastasia!

A exceptional dining experience. The tasting room while we waited for our table is a nice touch. All of our food was prepared perfectly. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. My wife had been hyping Cooper’s Hawk up for weeks for her birthday dinner. It was definitely worth the hype. We will make it a stop now every time we are in town.

One of my favorite restaurants- the staff is the sweetest and super attentive. I attended a wine club dinner here recently and the food was IMPECCABLE! They served me up so much I had the best left overs the next day! The menu was very well thought out and delicious. The decor was classy and very well put together. I sat by the event manager Allison and she was just amazing! I had great conversations with her and can tell she really puts 110% in to making customers have the best experience.

We had a lovely meal for my birthday. Our food was hot and delicious and our server Gerardo was attentive and very pleasant. We both had the shrimp, crab and lobster bisque which gives you a delicious amount of seafood in every flavorful bite! I order the spaghetti and meatballs which I’m not one to ever rave about spaghetti. But I have to say this is amazing. The bolognese sauce is meaty and flavorful and tastes like it was cooked all day. Using bucatini instead of traditional spaghetti gives you a nice chewy noodle that literally melts but lets you know it’s better than spaghetti! My hubby had the pretzel crusted pork chops and I have to say he barely said a word as he wolfed that meal down! I tasted it and found the broccolini to be cooked to perfection while nestled in a heap of flavorful mashed potatoes and the pork chop was beautifully crusted with amazing tenderness and flavor. The chocolate cake for dessert never disappoints with a beautiful dusting of cocoa powder on top it’s moist and delicious! We really enjoyed coming to Cooper’s Hawk!

We really enjoy going to the Cooper’s Hawk in South Barrington for our monthly wine tasting. Good wines, fun atmosphere and wonderful people behind the tasting bar. One of our favs is Quentin. He always greets everyone with an infectious smile and welcoming demeanor. He is very knowledgeable and offers suggestions if you are undecided which wine to try next or just doing a tasting for the 1st time. Thanks Quentin, for bringing a fun vibe to our monthly wine tastings.
