Took my mom out to dinner here last night, Wednesday. We arrived about 5:30….full parking lot as a lovely end of summer/start of fall evening, despite the near perfect weather, we didn’t ask for deck seating. We had asked for a standard height table to which the hostess informed us that would be around a 20 minute wait. I reluctantly caved and said a high top table would be fine. To my delight the tables had comfortable and easier to hoist my shorter frame up on to, thanks Red Pines! The place was bustling but the volume wasn’t irritatingly loud, again thanks Red Pines! Our table wasn’t far from the bar and my mom commented “wow they have four bartenders!” So… if you’re thinking of having a libation while you wait for your table, or just coming in for a drink? Fret not, you will be taken care of! In my photos you will notice a high top near the hostess stand, that too is a place waiting guests can have a seat while waiting for a table, as there’s not benches or anything. Very courteous! If you look up and around… I rather enjoyed the north higher wall being decorated in taxidermy and he upper south wall? Beer signs; a good mix for a woodsy bar. Glancing around out at the patio, appreciative that they had a “curtain” to roll down for that Sun Sets in the West as to not blind any diners. I didn’t venture past our table near the bar to see what the dining area was like at the westernmost portion of the bar where I could see standard height tables in….. Parking? We were lucky enough to find a spot right across from the door. They have a couple of lots, but spots may require a jaunt….. The food was good, my mom opted for a Red Pines pizza. I asked our server Rena if she’d order he Roll Tide wrap or a burger? She enthusiastically replied the Roll Tide. I opted for that sans the tomato. Side? Well….. pick a side…any side. Red pines has them…all! I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries. They were alright… some weren’t done enough…maybe jumbled up in the fryer basket? Definitely not bad, I would definitely order them again. The Roll Tide was good… had a bit of heat on it, definitely not bad, just wasn’t expecting it. Thanks Roll Tide for a good meal provided w good service. We will be back, cheers!

Can’t wait to come back on my next visit. Layla was a great waitress. Not only in service but also in recommendations for tourist stops. She sent us to Granddad Hill in Lacrosse and so glad we did not miss that stop! I had the Nashville Hot honey chicken breast sandwich. My husband had Blackened Walleye and we split the Wisconsin cheese curds. EVERYTHING was great. Loved the added touches like blankets at the table in case you got chilly. Too many things I want to try, will have to come back!

Walley was great. Fried Mushrooms were great, everything was great.
Food was delicious. Service was great. Restaurant was packed, but it was Friday night Fish Fry.

The best of the best!! The Reuben, the philly, cheese curds, and sweet potato fries were fantastic. Our waitress was so friendly, great service, and very accommodating when we needed to move out of the window seat, no hesitation and very pleasant about it. Fun atmosphere, bright, clean, lots of seating. This was my second time being there and both times were great and we will be back for more greatness!!

Very Busy when we went but well worth the wait. Had the pan fried walleye that was one of the best I’ve had. For my sides I order the veggies for a little extra money and they were amazing. I also had the cheeseburger soup but wasn’t all that impressed with it. My husband enjoyed it though

My family and I booked a private event with Red Pines for August 2025. It was wonderful! It was held at the Pine Cone, which is just next to the restaurant itself. I sent a message through their website expressing my interest, and Corinna responded very promptly. She was everything I could hope for when planning an event, professional, laid-back, gladly answered all my questions, and helped put together great menu options. She even took time to print a flyer with our family members’ photo and put it up on the sign just outside the Pine Cone so everyone could find us. A very thoughtful touch as our event was a celebration of life. Day of the event, everything was perfect! Our food was so good. The pulled pork was delicious! Our bartender Shannon was amazing between her and our other server (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) no one was left waiting for a drink and they came around the patio to clear plates,cups etc the service was absolutely top notch! I would definitely book another event with them in the future and have zero hesitation recommending them to anyone interested in booking an event. Thank you Red Pines for a beautiful afternoon celebrating our loved one.

We sat out on the patio. Blankets were provided if you wanted them. Service was excellent and food was a great value for the amount of food. We had the cheese curds for an appetizer, we each had a different meal: red pine burger, chicken stir fry, Mac and cheese with bbq pork, blackened haddock and chicken avocado wrap. We all loved our food. We will go back this summer. Beautiful location!!

The cheese curds were fantastic, but everything else was pretty mediocre. We had the battered shrimp and brisket enchiladas. I hate to say it, but even middle of the night, greasy chicago food trucks is better. There is more seasoning than just salt. Unfortunately, the chefs at this place are unaware of that fact.
I had to put so much salt on my mashed potatoes because it lacked any seasoning. The vegetables were just peas, and not even fresh ones. I had fresher vegetables from the Costco frozen aisle.
We hardly ever saw our waitress, but that could be the unruly child we had at our table.
