Like all fast food reviews… Location, location location makes all the difference. At the white Castle in Union, New Jersey on route 22, the service was exceptional compared to most white castles I have visited. These burgers were fresh off the grill with perfectly melted cheese and great onion, and pickle ratio.The buns were steamed to perfection as they were pillow soft. I believe this is where most white castles fall short. This white castle gets a five out of five on my experience today.

I’ve been ordering from. This White Castle for years. Service is good food is good. My orders have always been correct. I’ve ordered online and at in person, take our and sit in. Never had a issue. Glad to see the soda machine is being kept clean, the old one was a mess. Friendly staff and quick service. Thank you for years of business. I will be back in the future.

I haven’t been here since I was like 6 years old! First time having white castle in 20 years and still loved so much! Thank you for still being here, the service was decent too even with 2 people working. Definitely will come back! Honestly I can’t tell you how special it was even just being white castle( not that that’s a bad thing!) it’s just as I remembered it. Star example of what it should be! Also just have to say respects to harold and kumar which I grew up watching! I can see the reason they traveled for it!

The food was the usual. I found the fries tonight to be really good since they were cooked fresh in-front of my eyes. The chocolate milkshake was basically soft serve in a cup, which isn’t the worst thing in the world I guess.
My issue is and the reason for the two star review was the infestation of bugs throughout the whole restaurant. The staff were great, friendly, attentive, and were working hard. The overall cleanliness however of where you eat, and the bathrooms were gross. I used the bathroom to wash my hands and was hit with a foul odor and a bunch of flying bugs. The soap also had a horrible chemical smell that I still can’t get off my hands. As I was eating my burgers I kept smelling the chemical. Ruined my appetite a bit. I decided to sit down to eat and had these small flying bugs all around me still. They looked like small moths. They were on the tables and dead ones on the window. I opened the garbage and they were flying all over. It’s a shame because the workers are working hard but they’re surrounded by an outdated bug fest. White Castle do better. I don’t want bugs in my food. I was going to use the drive thru, I would have never even seen any of this. So just a heads up this is what the inside looks like. I found one of the bugs on my shirt when I got in my car. GROSS! Health department needs to check this place out. These bugs have to be getting into the food there’s no way that they are not based off of the amount I saw flying around especially near the kitchen door. Feeling itchy beware!

My first time ever getting a real White Castle. I grew up in CT and moved to TN and on my visit back home I passed one and had to stop. So delicious! I also got a coffee mug while I was there. Great price and I love it.

I can’t believe that a place that the food is horrible still exists, I live near to this place for at least 4 years and never been there but I’m in a rush so I decided to stop to give a chance, I had a lot of bad experiences in others white castles so I went to see if something changed but not even the food is horrible the customer service is insane, I ordered a chicken slider and 3 mozzarella sticks $7.39, NO SAUCE(for mozzarella sticks), NO DRINKS, NO NAPKINS AND NO CHANGE. The place have no change,if they do that to every customer they are going to make more money with the customers Change than the food…….Unbelievable

The wait time was insane at 1:40 in the afternoon on a Thursday & they should be hiring because it was only 2 people working & you could see the misery all over their face. And the onion rings although they were hot they don’t taste like they use to, & I ordered surf & turf and the fish was not hot & almost dried out. Smh. Smh. The owner & management need to do better. Total wait was 30 minutes.
