Go for the beer not the food. Our meatloaf was burnt on the bottom. The chicken tenders were salty and gross. It was a larger group, but the waiters didn’t come back in to the room for 30 minutes. Then it was a forced tip. I get that large groups have a service fee but they forgot a whole persons food, didn’t keep the drinks full with glasses empty for over an hour, food was burnt and wrong. The pot pie was good but spending $20+ for a burnt dish is uncalled for.

The Irishman has long been a staple on Main Street in Williamsville. The front patio is a popular spot on a nice day, and the fire pit adds to the ambiance at night.
Inside, the space has a classic pub feel, with a bar in the front and another toward the back, providing plenty of room for guests.
The food is generally good to very good. The Reuben is consistently well-made, and the salmon is also a solid choice.

We hosted a small party with ten people. We were seated in the back room which was lovely, but it felt like we were forgotten back there. Food and drinks were painfully slow to arrive to the table and we had to get up to walk to the bar TWICE to remind/request drink refills from our waitress. There was about four tables sitting in the main dining room, so being busy was not the problem. Unlikely to return to this establishment, unfortunately.

It was a minute before our waiter came to our table. He apologized straight out which was admirable. Dylan was an amazing server and was very attentive to all our needs. We have been here many times and it has always been a great experience. We started with the Jalapeño mozzarella sticks. Then my wife and I both got chicken sandwiches. I had the Glen falls chicken sandwich which was excellent with a large portion. My wife got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. My son had the Main Street burger and my daughter had a kids grill cheese. We were very happy with the food and the excellent service provided by Dylan- he deserves employee of the month!

Very cute setting. It is separated into 2 sections: front with the bar & access to the patio area. We didn’t see the back. The back was VERY NOISY & distracting. The front was small & kind of intimate.
We ordered the Boxty cakes as a shared appetizer. They were burnt & didn’t have much flavor other than that. The Blackberry Smash had no flavor other than straight whiskey no fruit taste (it was rough) but the Lavender was nice & refreshing.
The Guineas Stew had an add-on option of mashed potatoes for an additional cost. I asked for the mash but didn’t get it except on the bill.
At the end, entrees were good BUT when we asked for the check, the waiter came over with a handheld machine with no check. We had to ask how much our total was as he was waiting for our card. When he told us, we were FLOORED. The manager did correct our bill for the Guinness stew & rather than taking the add-on mash, she took the whole stew off which was nice of her. The restaurant was VERY expensive and not worth the cost. We probably won’t come back.

Excellent food. I had the mashed potatoes with cabbage and green onion as a side to my medium banger burger. The mashed potatoes had just the right amount of butter. A perfect portion and a match made in heave with the Banger Burger! The burger was cooked just right, and the sausage on it was delicious.
Riley, our server was amazing. She gave us ample time to overlook our menus. E everything from appetizers to entrees and drinks came out in a timely fashion, and Riley made sure we were ok!
Chill vibes and good seating allowed for a comfortable space to eat. Live music for outside seating was great, and just the right noose level for me to hear my fellow friends.

I didn’t eat here. Just stopped for a drink on my way to see the waterfall. Super cool place. The wrap around bar is a nice feature. Great service from the bartender!

Enjoyed dinner at the Irishman Pub this evening. Dylan was our server. He was extremely attentive and helpful. The food was excellent, I had the bangers and mash with a Harp beer. Everyone at my table was satisfied with everything. Will return in the future.

First time visiting the Irishman and really enjoyed the food! There’s a good kids menu. Fish on the tacos was fresh and crispy! Kids enjoyed the pizza and chicken fingers. Luckily made it in before the rush so go early and have a few drinks!
