An absolutely incredible restaurant in downtown La Crosse with an all 80’s theme. From the tongue-in-cheek menu options, to the movie posters to the best music videos playing on the tv screens, this place loves the ’80’s and it shows! While the ambiance is totally rad, the food is also excellent. We stumbled on the Breakfast Club and were thrilled by what we had discovered. And I didnt even mention the stand-up Pacman arcade game and hilarious posters in the bathrooms. Very highly recommended!!

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday, as it was quite busy we had a bit of a wait but the text message system for the wait list was super easy. We ordered a couple drinks and enjoyed the big selection of local beer! I got the BLT with mac and cheese and it was some of the best restaurant mac and cheese I’ve had.

Always an excellent choice for breakfast! Lotsa Tots are my go to (with cheese vs sausage gravy). Pancake of the month is usually good, too (June was Pineapple Upside Down Cake). No cost 2 hour parallel street parking is available, but there’s a parking ramp across the street, too. Usually busy, so expect a bit of a wait. It goes pretty fast.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! This is a true American diner serving up some amazing dishes. The place is decorated with 80s and 90s memorabilia, and videos from those times are playing constantly. The menu provides classic dishes with a twist. Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Staff was attentive, and the food was great! It was extremely affordable! This place was one of the highlights of my visit to La Crosse. Two thumbs up !

I was not expecting canned mushrooms. Those were hard to eat. Also I prefer real eggs. Plus I asked for pepper jack cheese and was given American cheese instead.
This restaurant has a cool 80’s theme. You can also play Ms Pac-Man or Galaga, which is fun.

A Gen Xer’s dream! Loved all the memorabilia and nods to my formative years! The small details are what made me smile – the menu item names, the posters in the restrooms, the music and 90s movie playing on a small screen on DVD no less! Hubs and I enjoyed challenging each other to the 80s trivia left on our table while we waited for our food. (I won!)
Service was amazing and food was really good! We shared the “Those aren’t pillows!” biscuits and gravy and a Western omelette. No complaints – food was hot and delicious. Not to mention inexpensive! Our total bill was $25 with sodas.
I smiled ear to ear the entire time and can’t wait to return for a little flash back to my childhood!
