We had breakfast at this traditional American diner. Food portions were huge, the largest pancakes I ever saw, and prices were reasonable. It felt like we had lunch. The service was great.

Chicken was raw, food was mediocre at best. Still charged for chicken after waiting 20 minutes for a new one to be made and being told “it happens sometimes”. Food was incredibly greasy and felt so sick afterwards. Home fries were cold, eggs benny used deli ham? Otherwise atmosphere was very cute and quaint as well as the staff.

My friend and I had the best time in the diner today ( 11-2 )We were there approximately 2-1/2 hrs and no one rushed us at all. The food- burger and grilled cheese – were perfect!
And Bridget our server was fabulous!! Wonderful person, a great asset to the restaurant!! Thanks!! I will return next time I’m in Syracuse!!

The Italiano breakfast sandwich was the best thing we had. Everything else was good and what I would call normal diner fare, but the Italiano was unique. My home fries were only barely warm though, but my husband’s were hot ‍♀️. I ordered mine with the onions and peppers which were cooked (a little) and then thrown on top in a pile; I would not order it that way next time. All the kids enjoyed their pancakes and French toast.

The staff was wonderfully cheerful and patient with kids and attentive.

The place overall appeared clean, except the condiments on the table; both the syrup container and the ketchup bottle were sticky and I didn’t like touching them.

I dunno, place had really good energy. I will return.
I had just picked up my sister (mystery, bonus big sister) at the train station and you guys were right there, and boom!
We were both glowing, the server picked up on that, we were chatting away and the guy at a table over there chimes in with “I used to live there too!” because sis and server had discovered that they had been living in the same city!
If this is an example of the energy there, I look forward to visiting again!
I enjoyed the daily special of meatloaf french fries and gravy over all and it was perfectly excellent.

The people and atmosphere was incredible. Portion size was insane for the price so be ready to eat. I have a pretty basic breakfast but they managed to make it memorable. I will definitely eat here again.

We were four adults out for breakfast and had a very positive experience at the Market Diner. It started with great interaction with our server (Bridget) and that latest throughout the meal. Food arrived quickly and portions were very generous. The quality of the omelets was noted and the specialty gingerbread pancakes were a nice treat! We will definitely return.

If you have a good biscuits and gravy plate, you’ll score in my book and they did! Everyone at the table ordered something different and everyone was pleased!! For a busy Saturday morning-Service was fine-no complaints. Atmosphere was quite nostalgic of a diner even including the “order up” being called from the back. Been 4 times now ordering something different from menu and each time the food was good! Great location, parking was

Very big portions for a great price. The coffee is Paul deLima, and flows easily from the roving waitress. Their menu is an extensive breakfast and lunch one, but they are not open for dinner. Burgers, salads, sandwiches and Lunch Specials are all about $15, some as high as $19. But the portions are large enough for lunch for two days.

The breakfast menu is classic, with 2 eggs, home fries and toast at $8, this photo is poached over rye. Add meat for a charge. There are pancakes and waffles on there, as well as frittatas. The half frittata is enough for one plus, and the whole frittata is a meal for another diner or another day. This picture was a ‘half’ order…

There’s plenty of parking, though I’ve only eaten here during the week, so I don’t know what it’s like when the market is running. But there was only a couple parking spots left today, and a couple open tables inside. And that was a 1:00 lunch… Enjoy-

Has become a go to spot for breakfast lately. The build your own scramble was delicious, loaded with my choice of toppings. The restaurant was busy but my service was exceptional. From the gentleman with the bright colored pants making sure I never had an empty coffee. To my server Rachel being attentive, polite, humorous, and most of all welcoming. Had a server Michelle even walk me through the menu to make sure I would have everything prepared the exact to my liking. Both these young ladies made me feel like they have known me for years.
