At our Pueblo, CO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This is such an awesome store! Sometimes it’s a little slow at the drive through, when I order online and give them a heads up, it is super quick! I have a track record of having wrong orders, they have never messed it up. Super awesome location! Every employee is personable. Highly recommend. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

After years Captain Ds has changed from fish fillers that were flaky and crispy to something that was questionable both in texture and taste. We actually took our plates back and told the cashier we had been served chicken. Unfortunately we probably won’t go back…this new “fish” stick doesn’t look, smell or taste like fish.. very disappointing

I’m from the East Coast where we have the best seafood(New England) and this was my first time I tried. Had the lobster roll and the price was great and so wasn’t the lobster roll I am impressed being from New England I will definitely come back here!

For a fast food place, it was extremely slow. The kids manning the register were very absent-minded. They kept asking the same questions again and again. When we came, there were about 3-4 people waiting for takeout orders and at least 3 occupied tables. We were not told that the kitchen was running behind so it could be a while. After waiting a good 20 mins, I went up to the register to see what was going on and was told that the kitchen was swamped and had missed a bunch of orders. It would be another 15 mins. The only person who seemed to be doing anything, was the manager. At this point, those kids were just standing around talking amongst themselves.
At about 35 mins past time, the manager came and said she would refund our money but then we also got our food.
What was the food? Lobster rolls, 5 little fried shrimps and funnel cake fries. The only reason I give this place two stars is those lobster rolls which were actually very tasty. The shrimp was also good. I personally don’t like funnel cake fries but my friend liked them.
We are not coming back. These guys need to sort their kitchen and staff out.
