TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Delicious food! My social media feed got hammered with this place recently and had to check it out. Place was inviting, clean and friendly. The lady at the counter helped me out as it was my first time there. I got the medium flavored tender, slider and fries combo with drink. Soooo good. Every item was freshly made and cooked with love. Price was average, I paid $17 with tax, well worth it. I’m going to make this a weekly or bi-weekly trip from here on out.

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time and ordered the #3 combo. I got Medium level heat. Not too bad. I’ll have to try Hot next time. I got the cheese fries instead of regular fries. The staff was helpful and my order was ready quickly. Overall, the meal was solid and I will definitely return.

The ambiance is great and so are the employees, but the sandwich was smaller than other places around and all I got the mild spicy but it was not spicy at all. Parking is on the street.

This was my first time me and my girlfriend have been to Dave’s and it was great. The customer service was awesome. The cashier asked if it was our first time and even offered to go over the menu with us. It’s a very clean restaurant and a nice atmosphere, there was no question whether we chose to take our food to go or sit and eat. Usually chicken tastes the same wherever you go but Dave’s chicken is different. The hot honey sauce was my favorite. 10/10 all around.

Whole restaurant was filthy, the service was absolutely rude and lazy and the food was not that great. Every table in the place was covered in crumbs and sticky, the floor was sticky and the trash cans were covered in food and sauces. The server at the counter was so lazy and acted like everyone was annoying. She mumbled when she talked and didn’t clean anything. The food tasted like the oil was old and the chicken was not hot. Will never go back. Major disappointment

Walked in wasnt greeted but went to the self order kiosk. Everything was clean including restrooms. Chicken i feel lacked flavor itself. Wasn’t crunchy like i seen in videos. Fries were good and flavorful. Blushing drink was ok. Overall 4.5/10

I went into the Dave’s hot chicken on Broadripple on the night that they were giving out free sliders. The store was absolutely packed from wall-to-wall. The staff could not have been more happy and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Despite the large rush of people that continue to flow through the doors the staff still served with a smile And Made sure everything was correct. Give them a raise!

This was my 1st time having Dave’s . I ordered the extra hot and hot sliders, and by the way, these are not sliders. These are regular sized sandwiches. They give you the couple extra pickles and the Dave’s sauce and get you a packet of honey. Man, I’m in a coma. I don’t have any complaints. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the fries were seasoned appropriately. If you haven’t tried Davey, boy, go try him out.
