This is someplace close and convenient to where I live. I probably wouldn’t drive out of my way just to go here though. Very solid bar sandwiches and burgers. Wings are decent. Prices are on par with the area. I really like the tots and the seasoned fries. Shoutout to the philly, my favorite sandwich here.

We’ve stopped in a few times for dinner or drinks. Tonight we had wings and the veggie sub with fries and tots. The fries were better than the sub and the pink swezey was better than the fries….bar food with good service.

I want to start by saying the food was phenomenal! I asked for recommendations from my server but nothing really struck a chord with me, so I just went with the Pork Belly BLT. I’ve only been here this once so I don’t have any other menu items to compare it to but WOW! That Pork Belly BLT Sub was amazing. If it were me i would toast the bun a bit, but the flavor of the Pork Belly made up for the difference.
Aside from the food itself, everything else was kind of lacking. I picked a beer from the tap list and saw the flyer at my table that advertised All Alcohol *with the exception of top shelf liquor was ½ priced for happy hour Monday through Friday 2:30-5:30. I ordered with my server and noted that happy hour was coming up soon. She told me that instead of that sale they were running a daily sale which is $1 off draft beers on Monday. I told her that the flyer on my table said it was ½ priced and it didnt say anything about an exception for Mondays. I tried to explain that I wanted the ½price deal as advertised and she said the daily sale basically cancels the happy hour sale. So they run multiple sales at the same time (which is fine by me) but, then, then they pick which one they want to honor based on which one costs more for the customer. LAME! If there was an asterisk on the flyer stating the daily special cancels the flyer sale thats ok, but to advertise 2 different prices for the same item is kinda false advertising. Without apology my server asked if I wanted the beer at the higher price or not, basically saying take it or leave it. That kind of experience makes me not want to return even though the food was bomb.

We are so fortunate to have such a high quality, great service restaurant in Pleasant View. The food is absolutely outstanding as I have tried many of their offerings. Voted as the best mixed drink place around, this venue is nothing less than fantastic and would be one of the most popular places to eat and drink even in a major city. If you haven’t tried it, check out their spinach salad, Boston butt or Philly sandwiches. Fantastic! I have met people who have driven for miles to enjoy this place, and everyone I have met says it’s worth it… Great job…

My brother in law took me here on my visit to Tennessee. A really cool place. We had the Italian sub(heated) with red cabbage slaw and it was excellent. Our server was also very personable and friendly, stopping by to see how we were doing more than just bringing the food and bill. Excellent service.
Well worth the check out if you’re in the area.
My brother in law lives in the area and recommends the Philly cheese steak as well. Maybe next time.

**4 Stars**

Swezey’s in Pleasant View is a solid choice if you’re in the area and craving some casual comfort food. However, if you’re a vegetarian, this place might not be for you—the menu is definitely geared towards meat lovers. The service was just okay, but the onion rings and Sriracha ranch totally made up for it. They were seriously delicious! My husband enjoyed the Sweet Chili Chicken Sub, which had a nice balance of flavors.

If this restaurant were in Nashville, it would probably be a 3-star spot, but considering its location, it’s a solid 4 stars. Definitely worth a visit if you’re local or passing through!

Stayed nearby and stopped in here for a sandwich. And we are very glad we did. Although it doesn’t totally conform to the definition of a Cuban sandwich, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. And it was massive with a pile of fries. The bread and every component of the sandwich were amazing.

Swezey’s was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the area and most was definitely worth the time to check out while we were out in Pleasantview.

It is located in some mixed commercial/resendetial buildings with multiple other restaurants and stores

It’s well lit with seating for larger and smaller groups as well as a patio

We got the corn dip for an appetizer, my partner liked it but was thrown off it was(I ordered it so on me) but it was delicious

For meals we each got a sub a two sides, he got the pork belly BLT, tots and the street corn(on the cob, still amazing but I have teeth issues so wanted call that out). I got the spicy ginger chicken sub, Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoe fries, again super good and flavorful

These are large portions as well, he only ate one half his sub and I was only able to get 2/3s of my first half, plenty of fries and side portions, I’ll be eating mine for a late night snack as well as lunch tomorrow.

He got a coke to drink and I got a spritzer and then cherry limeade. Both strong but not to point of jeopardizing taste

Staff was great, we were seated as soon as we walked in and had Ms Kayley who was adorable! She answered all of my questions, we definitely weren’t lacking in refills, impeccable timing and overall very sweet

I didn’t try it but I did see a vegetarian option, not vegan. All of my veggies were delicious so I imagine the sandwich would be as well. Also free refills on sodas, large drink menu/full bar and homemade desserts. We weren’t able to try the desert with our longer drive home but it sounded delicious, I believe a strawberry dump cake but I could have misheard.

Overall amazing and would recommend if youre in the area!

The food was 5 stars for sure, the waitress from Colorado is attractive, but the service wasn’t great. Ordered appetizer and two meals, but we never got a refill on our drinks. I ordered a Guinness, expected it to be on tap at a pub, but it was in a can, and served with a non Guinness glass. Went to use the ketchup and the lid was covered in old ketchup.

Food was great. Service was good. Only thing I would watch for is credit cards. Minutes after we ate and paid our account had 6 fraudulent charges made to something called “What Not”. Wether it is an employee or someone who hacked Sweezey’s Pubs account, don’t know for sure… but since this was the first and only time the card was used in 2 weeks points directly at this establishment. I would not return there unless I paid cash. Hopefully the owner vets their employees well. Until then…. There is good food at other establishments too. I would not recommend this business unless you pay with cash.
