My father-in-law brought us here mainly because they serve Leinie’s. We started with the Leffrickes—fried pickles served with a sauce that tasted just like Chick-fil-A sauce. They were absolutely delicious! They disappeared so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo. The pickles were lightly coated, probably in panko, and had a great crunch that paired perfectly with the tang of the pickle.

I ordered the garlic parmesan wings, which were nicely sauced and full of flavor. It’s always a win when wings aren’t dry. As for sides, it was pretty minimal—just two pieces of celery and a pickled banana pepper, which made me laugh a little.

My husband enjoyed his “Lucky Town” sammies, and the fries were decent. My mother-in-law really liked her pork queso nachos, too. I also tried their muddled brandy old fashioned (sweet), which was okay—just a bit watered down for my taste.

Overall, it was a good experience. The food hit the spot, the service was decent, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Plus, they’re kid-friendly, which is always a plus.

Food looks amazing, but it’s nothing special. Both sandwiches had bacon, and the edge of it was rock hard! At first, I thought I was biting a bone from the chicken. The chicken sandwich was almost impossible to eat!

Curds were good, but sauces were lacking. They should include the hot house ranch at this location. Atmosphere was cool and a nice outdoor seating area.

Hit and miss on friendliness. I’m a regular and most times food is good. Cleanliness sitting at the bar is shoddy. In the recent past I had my arm in the slop left behind by the previous customer, not to mention the body odor. Today before I sat at the bar I pointed to crumbs on the bar. The whole right end of the bar was messed up from previous customers. Bartender did come clean it up but only after I had pointed it out. They weren’t that busy! None of the staff really greeted me and some never looked my way but talked with other customers near me. I let the bartender know that I was on my way out. When I was leaving the waitress turned and looked my way but never thanked me for dining there. I leave a decent tip even when the hospitality is less than par. Maybe things will change soon because I have gift cards to use up. Wondering why they want to give this impression of the business…???

We ordered take out so I cannot speak about service. The food however was very good! I ordered The Lucky Town sandwich and a cup of chili. They were both excellent.

Leff’s Lucky Town is a gem nestled in the heart of Wauwatosa, and it consistently proves why it’s a go-to spot for both locals and visitors seeking great drinks and food. One of the standout features of Leff’s is its friendly and attentive staff. The bartenders and servers are not only personable but also seem genuinely excited to ensure you have a memorable experience. Their warm hospitality sets the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable outing.

When it comes to the menu, Leff’s does not disappoint. The cheesy spud potato side is a must-try; it’s comfort food at its finest with the perfect blend of creamy cheese and crispy potatoes. For those who love appetizers, Leff’s offers a delightful selection. The pretzel is soft and warm, paired perfectly with tangy mustard or cheese dip. The cheese curds are golden and gooey, exactly as they should be, while the fried pickles provide a tangy, crunchy bite that pairs well with a refreshing drink.

The lively atmosphere, combined with these tasty offerings, makes Leff’s Lucky Town a favorite spot for casual gatherings. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a night out, the quality service and delicious menu items make it a reliable choice for a good time. Can’t wait to go back!

Wanted to check out a new place and this has been on my list for awhile. Went with a group of 4 and it was a great time. We went during the packer game and had good service and good food. I got a burger and these potato muffins that were out of this world, I could honestly eat a whole basket of just them. My friends got fries, chicken wrap, and buffalo mac and cheese. Everyone was pretty satisfied with what they got. The prices were really fair for what you are getting. I also got a Bloody Mary which had a full bar just for that, They bring you the vodka and you add your toppings. I think that is a Sunday only thing but I could be wrong. They have a lot of drink options and a lot of game day specials and all at a fair price. The only complaint I could have is the noise, I understand it was a packer game but they have a speaker above almost every table. It can get hard to have a conversation at the table. Not a big deal but I think it’s worth mentioning. Definitely a place I’ll be back, I would really like to try the wings.

We have been here so many times! Food was delicious and we always get the wings. But today the older server lady was frustrating. After saying “I can split the bill multiple ways” we said “yes please”, she made a fuss out of it and made it seem like a big deal when we only had 4 separate orders…. Why say you can split it then??? We had a fantastic experience until then.
