Food, service, staff and atmosphere is fantastic here. They brew their own beer. I had one that was called Pretty ________… something. It was great and not hoppy. I had the c chicken parmesan sammy and my wife had the blackend salmon. Both were excellent.
Overall great experience and I will go here again.

I like to describe this place as high-end bar food. Every time you visit you can expect the menu to be slightly different as they’re always looking to try new things.

The food is consistently great. In terms of starters, I highly recommend the beer pretzels as an appetizer. The cheese sauce is incredibly flavourful and will set the right tone for the rest of the meal. I’ve also had many excellent mains here. Donair, burgers, butter chicken, fish tacos, you name it. Everything on the menu is made with care and you can be confident that their take on a dish will be well crafted. The portion sizes are also very generous, and you never have to worry about leaving hungry.

On your way out, be sure to stock up on some of their many in-house brews and ciders from the beer fridge. They don’t sell their beverages at LCBO for some reason, so this is the only place you can buy them. It’s well worth it, and I’ve always enjoyed each of the dozen+ beers I’ve tried here over the years.

One of the best restaurants in Collingwood, and a standard everywhere else needs to aspire to.

Omg, this place is amazing. A solid 5 stars!
We were in town, hungry, and just looking for a place with decent food, ended up here and were completely blown away. From the outside, it might look like just another old brewery, but trust me, it’s way more than that. They’ve got a full selection of beers. I went with my favorite, an amber lager, and it tasted great. My friends tried a few other kinds, and everyone was happy with their picks. Now let’s talk about the food. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. I ordered the fish and chips and a pizza, and honestly, I didn’t expect that level of food from a brewery. The presentation was on point too. Our server was super friendly and helpful. I asked for hot sauce, and she brought out their house made sauce, it was really good. Only small downside was the pizza crust. It was a bit too thick for my taste. I know it’s supposed to be Detroit style, but I think it would’ve been better with a thinner, more flavorful crust. Still good, just a minor thing. Oh, and it seems like they specialize in pizza too, there’s a full section on the menu just for that. The washrooms were clean and well kept, and there are a few free parking spots right in front of the restaurant. Definitely recommend this place. Will be back for sure.

We went in the evening on a holiday Monday after skiing all afternoon. When we arrived (without reservations), they were very busy and we had to wait a few minutes for a table. We were seated as soon as a table was cleaned for us. Our server was there promptly and our orders were taken as soon as we were ready. The food, the drinks were all fresh and tasted amazing! Thanks to everyone working on family day 2026 for the great service and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back!

I got their burger with fries and I must say that the amount of food they give you is quite generous! I also love how they season their food. I got a mojito with my meal, but you can also buy cans of beer here to take home. I would recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Our experience tonight was literally the best restaurant all round. From atmosphere cozy and inviting, the brewing cylinders right there to view was nice, the food was A+++. All three meals were equally as loved, the Big Loop lager was delicious, the Noisy Parker porter was very good. The waitstaff was fantastic, friendly and attentive. So so good, a HIGH recommend! We did the Collingwood one not the blue mtn one.

I have been going to Northwinds in Collingwood since it opened. In my opinion, it has the best pub atmosphere in town, really great beers many of which come in a patriotic 20oz format, and the wait staff are unfailingly friendly and knowledgeable. The food prices are a bit steep, but the food is usually tasty and plentiful. Any complaints I have about the place are all recent. One, don’t shrink happy hour. 3-6 is a nice comfortable window, but 3-5 pinches the possibility of happiness — most people don’t finish work by three and many finish around five. Two, what’s with the corporate uniforms, the whole dystopian tunic thing? When the staff used to simply wear a product T and jeans the whole vibe was chiller, more apres ski. Third, while it is not the fault of Northwinds staff that there are misbehaved kids in the world, it is their responsibility to tell uninvolved parents not to let their spawn run around unsupervised. A family eating and talking and laughing together is a beautiful thing, but adults on their phones while their kids play hide and seek in the restaurant is annoying. Lastly, I know public tvs are unavoidable, and to its credit Northwinds has always had fewer screens than most places, but now there is a lot more mainstream programming than there used to be. The old skiing and extreme sport reels were interesting and added positively to the Northwinds atmosphere in a way that golf and poker do not.

Tried for the first time (I really wanted a beer) because Brewhouse caught my eye driving by. Great! Small batch beer was delicious! Chicken bacon mushroom soup starter was tremendous. My mother was a Dutch soup master so I know. The blackened salmon on risotto was so tasty and perfectly cooked. The risotto was super tasty with loads of fresh broccoli (if you like that stuff). The salmon with a grainy red pepper paste ( missed the name) was delicious.
If you haven’t tried this place, try it now! Very popular place. Was mostly full at 8pm on a Thursday when I arrived.
