First time in this location. I usually goto the one off Rainbow. I think this place feels a little more updated as far as furniture and atmosphere. Great food and service. We opted for dining and not hibachi, and was surprised that for our party of 7, we were given a booth that was like in its own room. As the other dining booth are, they are all private booths where you can even close the sliding door. Great if you really want a private dinner. I waitress was awesome, she made jokes and had a great attitude about her. I didn’t catch her name but she was awesome. Love their food, especially their dinner options as the portions are good. The salad and soup that come with dinner were really tasty. I had the salmon dinner and I would easily order this again. Definitely a place I would return to.

An amazing experience, friendly servers, clean restaurant, and the best of all – great food. I had shrimp fried rice and shared a 3-roll sushi combo with the kiddo. There’s no letdown for the food, excellent food. There was a slight wait for a table. Parking is a bit crowded. The dessert we wanted wasn’t available that evening. But, we have been to this location a half dozen times and will continue to go. I very much recommend this place.

Our friends made reservations for the 5 of us and we arrived on time with them in trail. When we checked in we were told the whole party had to be there to be seated and we couldn’t understand why. Once they arrived they started to bring us to the hibachi table and we just wanted a regular table so we aren’t sure what happened. The reservation didn’t specify so it wasn’t a big deal we found a regular table. Just a bunch of confusion to start. We were sat in a nice private booth and overall the entire place was well kept.
Once we were seated our server was quick to come over and get us started with drinks. We all placed our order and it wasn’t long before it all arrived.
Our friends enjoyed the sushi, the wife enjoyed her chicken katsu curry. Unfortunately my beef udon wasn’t the greatest, the broth had a weird sweet taste and wasn’t great. The udon noodles were very good and the beef was just ok. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but I don’t think we would add this restaurant to a regular rotation.

A great venue for multi-person dining. The way they prepare the food is a spectacle that requires a lively group to truly enjoy. Food-wise, the steak, salmon, and scallops were standard—good but not exceptional. That said, the hot fried rice and stir-fried noodles were incredibly satisfying and made for a hearty winter meaL.

I took my friend Barb here for her 80th birthday . I love how we were able to get our own table because we arrived early. This restaurant is reasonably priced and has a great combination hibachi dinner. I am used to only getting two meats in a combo, but Ohjah offers 3 meats.
The hibachi dinner comes with a soup and salad. We both enjoyed the salad dressing.
The food and service were excellent. I definitely plan to come back.

Very disappointing experience. I specifically ordered two fried rice portions, but when the chef brought it out, it was a very small amount, nowhere near what was ordered. Instead of fixing the issue properly, he tried to make up for it by adding noodles without asking or even telling me. I don’t like noodles at all, and I only found out once it was already on my plate. There was no effort to communicate or make sure I was okay with the substitution.
To make matters worse, the waiter assisting us had a really bad attitude—rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in addressing the problem or providing good service.
Between the lack of communication, incorrect food, and poor customer service, this place really dropped the ball. Definitely not the experience you expect from a Japanese steakhouse. I won’t be coming back.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered my meal expecting what was listed on the menu, but when it arrived, the portion was much smaller than it should have been. Instead of properly fixing the mistake, the staff tried to adjust the order without asking me first. I wasn’t informed about the change until the food was already served, which was frustrating and showed a lack of communication.
To make matters worse, the service was not welcoming. The waiter came across as rude and uninterested in helping resolve the issue. There was little effort made to apologize or make sure I was satisfied as a customer.
Between the incorrect order, poor communication, and unprofessional customer service, the overall experience was disappointing. This was not what I expected, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to return.

We went on Christmas day, which may have led our cook to be grumpy and make rude comments about tips, and generally not be friendly at all….. at several occasions rolled his eyes and huffed because we were talking with members of our group rather than pay attention to him. Probably won’t go back. But the food was good…

We were about 10 min early for our reservation. The hostess asked us to have a seat in the breezeway & she would let us know when ready. She forgot us! Because of this, we had a chef & teppanyaki table to ourselves. The chef didn’t seem to do many tricks, but the food was very good. Teriyaki sauce was used on the noodles while cooking them….SO GOOD. Our table attendant was all smiles and attentive.
