The kind of Italian restaurant you don’t forget. The pasta comes out perfectly al dente, the sauces taste like someone’s grandmother has been guarding the recipe for generations, and the ingredients actually taste alive. Warm lighting, real hospitality, and food that feels crafted rather than assembled. A place where a simple plate of ravioli turns into a small event. Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time.

Lunch crowd on Friday afternoon was very slow and we loved being able to soak in the decor and history of this older style architecture with stained glass windows and vintage ceiling tiles. The waiter, Shane, was super polite and accomodating to bring certain dishes out ahead of the entrees. Their Fettucini was quite delicious in a creamy tomato base with a mystery combination of spices that was hard to put down. The manager came by several times to ask if everything was good. From the outside, the building looks pretty ordinary 1900’s US style design but the seating area is nicely decorated. They could certainly spruce up the place by putting beautiful, living plants in Italian style pots or other mood enhancers like candles or old style floor lamps. This is a really great place for Italian food in the small Corsicana community. Very enjoyable experience.

Really enjoyed this place. Absolutely recommend. It has two sections; a bar at one end with a separate street entrance and a restaurant end with its own street entrance. You can go between the two from the inside.

Service was great. Brought very tasty and soft rolls with marinara automatically. I ordered the calamari and it too came with a marinara. It was excellent. Well cooked and seasoned; none of that barely-flash-fried going on. Loved it.

Also ordered a small (12”) sausage and mushroom pizza. It was ok but not the flavor I’d hoped for. Almost seemed a bit undercooked and light on the red sauce. Pizza is so individual that it’s really hard to judge objectively for everyone. Toiled over the menu as there were so many excellent-sounding choices but I went with the taste of pizza in mind.

Multiple people came by to check on things but not annoyingly so.

They’re a Pepsi house…can’t have everything I guess. This had no bearing on my rating. Plus they serve alcohol….and water.as I left, I stopped over to the bar for a beer. Not crowded. Loved the country music. Definitely can see hanging out here.

I’ll come here again for sure, in spite of the Pepsi. If the pizza was excellent (for me anyway), it would have been a 5 without hesitation. After the next visit, I’ll likely amend this review as I expect they will do great.

This place is one of the best Italian spots I’ve been too! I had Charlie’s special and it was so delicious and big portion! Must go if you love Italian food!

Atmosphere:
From the outside, it blends in within the rest of the downtown area and when you enter, there is a long hallway that takes you to an open room. Turn a left and walk through the passage and its almost like you stepped into a new establishment. The decor was really nice and the music playing in the backgrund suited the ambiance.

Service:
Upon entry we were seated pretty quickly. We were sat towards the front of the building and could see some of downtown. The server was helpful in providing recommendations as well as refilling our beverages.

Quality:
The complimentary rolls had a nice crispy texture to them and was served with a flavorful marinara sauce. Soon after I was presented with my entree , Chicken Fra Diavola. The portion size was substantial and full of flavor. The amount of spice was just right.

Fili’s Fave:
Even though it was the first time eating there, I would highly recommend the Chicken Fra Diovola.

Great atmosphere, service, and quality food. Definitely leans on a bit more pricey side, especially for those premium dishes, but the portions are good and they have a wide selection to choose from. Their pizzas looked great, the wings were good appetizers, and the pasta tasted authentic (plus, complementary bread!). It was late when we came so it wasn’t too busy, but wait staff was very kind and helpful with menu information. It looks to be in a very historic building too, so good ambiance. Would definitely recommend checking out if you’re in the area and have the money!

Historic hotel that has been repurposed as a fine Italian restaurant. Tasty and fun.

I believe we waited 15 to 20 minutes for her to go order which was a pretty decent time! The food was delicious and you can tell that it’s made with fresh ingredients! Next time, definitely getting a dessert!

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. We had the Aristocrat chicken (enough for 2 meals – and so happy to eat it twice!) and the Seafood Linguini.

We were meeting friends from Houston and wanted a very nice restaurant and stumbled on Napoli’s. What a delightful surprise! This is a real gem and one in Corsicana that you should never miss.

Be sure to ask for Diellza who made our evening an evening to remember. Our guests felt the same.

This restaurant is one of the best we have reviewed in many years. JW
