In the fifteen years I’ve lived in Mobile I’ve only ever heard great things about Briquettes and I am happy to say they did not disappoint!
Me and my fiancee spent our final valentine’s day before becoming married getting dinner here. She got the NY strip I got the biggest ribeye I’ve ever had! The asparagus tasted good but was slightly under done so it was still a bit too crunchy. I got my steak done medium rare but like the asparagus it was slightly under done so was more rare than I normally order. However the fat was fully rendered so it melted in my mouth and I didn’t lose any part of the steak!
Overall a great experience!

Not a fan of this location. I used to live in Mobile, I remember when it was by Sonny’s. My girlfriend and I visited Mobile and it was recommended to us. I bit the bullet and was very disappointed. The waiter got our drink order wrong 4 times. No one tastes anything here either it seems like.
The only good thing was the shrimp appetizer we got. Steaks were underwhelming for the price. Rice was not cooked all the way.
I will not be returning to this location when we come to Mobile.

I was recommended this place by a local of Mobile. Atmosphere kind of dated place was clean but could use deep clean. Service….seated within minutes of arriving, but took waitress 13 minutes to come get our drink order, and by that time we order everything didn’t want to wait another 13 minutes.
Daughter order Medium-well filet and it came out rare-medium. More butter on mashed potatoes than actual potatoes. Wife order filet it came out butterflied and almost positive it was sirloin not filet, and it was well done when medium was requested. Additionally she ordered loaded mashed potatoes for loaded baked potatoe instead.Overall seasoning was lacking on everything. The price point for all items is absolutely insane for the quality of food that is delivered. I would not recommend this restaurant at all!

We always enjoy Briquettes, and this time was no different! Great server! She was so funny and attentive! Our dinner was so good. I forgot to take pictures before we started! Just know, everything was GREAT!! That white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was so good!!

We had stopped by for a late lunch for my husbands birthday dinner. I had explained to the waitress that I was gluten free and she even brought over a gluten free menu! I was so excited to see that! Accidentally the salad did have croutons but the server and the tray runner were SO accommodating. Especially shout out to the runner for telling me he would have them remake the salmon as even small amounts of gluten will cause me to have big reactions. So I wanted to personally say thank you to the staff for taking my allergy seriously and not making me feel like a burden. I can’t remember their names. But it was around 2 pm.

Simply LOVED my visit here! There was a very small wait, but it was TOTALLY worth it! From the moment we were seated, our waitress made sure we were greeted and welcomed warmly. Her level of service was EXCELLENT! She even made me aware of a free desert for my birthday, which to me was going that extra mile to make me feel appreciated, something very few restaurants do these days. The entrees were DELICIOUS and reasonably priced to boot. I HIGHLY recommend the Salmon, it is succulent, perfectly seasoned, and quite literally melts in your mouth! This entree also comes with a salad of your choice and one side. The atmosphere was great, food was delicious, and quality service. I certainly recommend a visit here!

We called several days ahead to get on the “call ahead list” for a party of 17 at 7 this past Friday. We arrived around 6:30, enjoyed a drink at the bar and were sat within 15-20 minutes. The staff was accommodating, personable and professional. The food was delicious as always! The creamy mashed potatoes are a must!!

We go to Briquettes fairly often and the food is always wonderful! Tonight I really wanted to compliment the service. Michael took great care of us and was very attentive to all our needs. He was kind and checked in with us often. We were a little needy and it didn’t seem to phase him at all. Wonderful job, Michael!!
