We arrived at the Chowhouse and were greeted right away. Unfortunately they did not have any tables available so were told it was going to be a bit of a wait while a large group was about to leave. After our wait we were seated and got our drink orders quickly. We ordered the meatloaf, a burger, blackened chicken, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was fantastic although a little on the saltier side. The blackened chicken was a little dry but still good. Overall it was a great visit and would visit again next time we are in town.

Follow up went back and had the chicken fried steak and the salmon and I give them 10 stars as well. Our waitress was awesome and took care of all our needs before we even had to ask it was a great evening

This spot has a tad more of an upscale look. We were pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices. The food was served scalding hot, and was prepared as ordered. The ice tea was strong (as seems to be the norm these days) but was not bitter (which tends to be uncommon). Minus one star for only serving local beer in cans. Although to be fair, even their beer prices were much more reasonable than most.

1st time at the Chowhouse my wife had the Meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the blackened chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. They were both filling entrees. I had the hot apple pie drink and she had the fireside hot chocolate.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. Our server was attentive and our food came out in a good enough time (long enough where you know it’s not frozen but soon enough to know they are not messing around in back). The food was original and savory. Overall great experience!

I went there with my sister today 3/16/25 and it was SO good!! We loved the vibe, the food was amazing and our waitress was Lola and was super nice and friendly. I had the Chickie Chow Sandwich and we had fried pickles. Everything was so amazing for our first time here. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Had lunch there and it was amazing. Home cooked meals some with a small twist, but great nonetheless. If you’re in the Arts District stop in.

Every time I’m in Tulsa, I make a point to visit The Chowhouse.
It is, for my money, the best burger in Oklahoma hands down. I get the fried green tomato burger every time and have never been disappointed.
The Chowhouse is small in all the right ways – realistic seating for the serving staff and kitchen to keep up with their excellent menu. Everything is more than fairly priced for the quality, and I love how easy it is to get virtually anyone like kids, grandparents or friends a meal they’d love.
For me, Chowhouse is a must-stop destination in Tulsa. It’s often the part I’m most excited about when I’m driving through.

Loved this place, good happy hour on food and drinks. The fried pickles serving are enough for four people!! Apple dumpling: Amazing desert. Interesting local beer cans too.
