Parking lot is clean – room to let your dog out, too.
You walk in and are greeted. All the employees seem friendly and keep the joint hopping.
The inside is kept clean work plenty of seating. Drink station is stocked and they were not out of any flavor drinks that we chose ( not to mention names, but BK is often out of a lot of flavors).
The food is ok – maybe just not my cup of tea for a hamburger. The bun was not heated nor toasted in any manner. Why do they put a square patty on a round bun….??
Overall, the place was great. Wheelchair accessible and outside tables, weather permitting.
While I was eating inside the Wendy’s on Pines Road, a man entered the restaurant who was actively bleeding, with blood visibly dripping onto the floor in the dining area. Staff did not address it until I pointed it out and asked them to clean it. I became physically ill due to the unsanitary conditions, threw my food away, and requested a refund. The manager refused, even after I explained I got sick because of the blood exposure. During this interaction, an employee accused me of being racist, stating that if it had been “one of my people” I wouldn’t have said anything. This accusation was inappropriate and unrelated to my concern, which was strictly about health and sanitation. Police were called. When I tried to explain that blood in a dining area is a health hazard and that I was concerned about possible exposure through my belongings, the officer was dismissive, accused me of lying while I was speaking, threatened arrest, and had me barred from the restaurant without a clear explanation. This experience was unacceptable and raises serious concerns about sanitation, professionalism, and customer safety at this location.
