Overall, we had a great experience. The staff, especially Leilani and Marrieta, were very friendly, helpful, and made the service enjoyable. We tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including BBQ baby back ribs, sizzling ribeye steak, sauteed mahi mahi, beef teriaki and pizza for the kids (pizzas are one small) at lunch, as well as omelets, pancakes, French toast, and bagels for breakfast. There was a good variety of food, though the quality didn’t fully meet our expectations.
We had vouchers due to a flight cancellation, had to stay two days at the hotel and the restaurant staff patiently helped us with the billing process. If you stay at the Seaside Hotel, don’t forget to ask for the 10% discount.
They also had karaoke on Friday; it wasn’t crowded, and we really enjoyed it while having dessert. The cheesecake, ice cream, and chocolate cake were all delicious.

Had breakfast at Tante’s Island Cuisine and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, fresh, and comforting perfect start to the day. Portions were generous and everything tasted well made.
Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed with nice island vibes. Since we were staying at Maui Seaside Hotel, we also received a 10% discount, which was a nice bonus.
If you’re nearby and looking for a solid breakfast spot with good food and a welcoming feel, Tante’s is definitely worth checking out. Would happily come back again. ☀️

Nice place to eat since it’s at the Maui Seaside Hotel. Friendly staff. Food is good price. Food always cane out hot. I was not brave enough for the Loco Moco challenge or Pancit challenge.

Nice workers. Convenient location, but parking is tight. Many of the food items are pretty good local comfort food and prices are pretty reasonable. Atmosphere is a little old, but clean and comfortable. Their mudpie is delicious and huge as well as their Lilikoi cheesecake though a little small. We liked their shoyu chicken, mac nut crusted fish and beef liver plates.

Laid-back Family Restaurant atmosphere. Service was kind of slow but to be fair there were two large parties going on. I’m used to oxtail soup the way they serve it in Honolulu and this was nowhere close to what I was used to getting. But all in all it was a great experience for a small town restaurant. I can see why it’s so popular with the local folks on Maui. Although my soup wasn’t quite up to what I was expecting. I’ll surely return and try ordering something else– hopefully when it’s not as crowded.

Island Mixed Plate and the Hula Chicken were both great, reasonably priced for the portion sizes as well. We had a mango cheesecake for dessert too which was excellent.

The server was nice and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu. I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi, and it was amazing! My mom had the shoyu chicken. It was very tasty and a large portion. We had the mud pie for dessert. It was huge, and really good. We’ll definitely go back again.

We’ll usually the chicken salad. It’s really a well balanced meal; chicken, lettuce, papaya, cucumber, avacado, carrots, tomatoes, somen noodles, and the best dressing.
Their menu is really varied with everything from salads to Filipino cuisine and everything in-between. You are guaranteed to find something you like.
The only thing better than their food, is the staff.

Food was ok, nothing special. Pancakes were fluffy , tasteless. French toasts had too much eggs on side. And nothing on top.
Although the Omelette with blue cheese and veggies was very good
