Food & service was quick with large portion sizes. However I was told the potatoes would be grilled not deep fried and I asked for well well done. They apperrd ti be deep fried and slightly grilled. The biscuits were hard and crunchy except where they were buttered. The gravey tasted like hotel gravey from a can. The 3 stars goes to the nice server and the good pancakes & eggs.

My family has been coming here since 1969 when my parents had their first date at The Bonfire. And we’ve been regulars ever since…we love it! And the new owners are truly wonderful. They helped tremendously when we needed to host my dad’s funeral luncheon in early January (2026). Thank you so much! Cheers to many more years of making this spot one of our very favorites.

Such a great place to get some food at and have a drink! Super friendly staff – always smiling. Lots of choices on menu. There were a few of there and all we tried different items from the food list — everything was delicious! If you haven’t been here before – definitely worth you checking it out. And if you have been here before – make sure you go back.

First Day of the Fish Fry Specials. It was packed, but our group of 5 got seated within 7 minutes. Our waitress was on top of her game. We had our drinks within minutes, then ordered. Appetizers and main courses came out quickly. The food was delicious. I had the Bourbon Salomon. Everyone else had cod. The sides were well prepared. Reasonably priced and we got a lot for our money. Will definitely revisit the Bonfire again.

My parents came here on a first date 57 years ago, they both said it was awesome! My Mum brought family and friends here last month to celebrate “her Tommy’s” long, wonderful life; it was unforgettable!! Thank you Chelsea, Matt and the outstanding Bonfire Staff!!

I took a long drive to nowhere and landed here. I’m glad I stopped. The waitress, Linda, was an absolute sweetheart. She made my day.
I got a bowl of the wedding soup, it was hot and delicious. I also ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with gravy and I added sauerkraut on the side. When I tell you it tasted like New Year’s Day family dinner, I’m not lying! lol

On our previous visit I had to tell to get staff attention. On this visit tables seated after US got service before US until we spoke up.
