Absolutely horrible, anyone that has had real mexican food or even good tex-mex would hate this place. Let’s start with service, made a reservation 2 weeks prior, informed them we would have 15-20 guests, they offered us a table for 15 saying a larger group without a reservation arrived before us and got the banquet room we requested. 22 people arrived which made seating difficult. The hostess and management dropped the ball on this one. The wait staff was great, the were always checking on our party.
Now for the food, I ordered the Puerto Vallarta fajitas (beef, chicken, shrimp)for two. It was practically a vegetarian dish, made 4 tacos and ran out of meat. And a complete lack of spices, they were so bland all you could taste was the butter they put in the pan, no salt, no pepper, no cumin just butter. I may be biased, I have been raised on real mexican food and lived in plenty of towns with a large migrant community, but this was beyond bland even for a gringos palette. Ordered margaritas, and watch them pour them straight out of a gallon jug of premix. Others in the party complained of the same. They even removed the toilet seats from the mens restroom. Will not return

Used to love this place but the quality has gone downhill over the past few months. Chicken fajita nachos was always our go to thing. It was a fajita mix with chip and queso. Now it is this mush. It used to have such an amazing flavor and everything was perfectly charred. Now it’s like they made everything in advance and scoop it out and serve it. So sad. I have been getting this meal for so many years. Not once had it ever looked like this. This was my 4th attempt hoping for whatever reason they had gone back to the usual “normal” way of making it, but was left disappointed as the last few times. Just sad.

The last time I ordered takeout several months ago, they forgot a tomale and tried to gaslight me into thinking i was wrong. What they claimed was a tomale was a tiny pile of beans covered in sauce, no actual tomale. I decided to order takeout again this evening and i find what looks indistinguishable from a 3 inch pubic hair in my chile relleno. Both times the service absolutely ruined the experience and my appetite, and I will not be giving this location another shot, would much rather order from Acapulco on bethel even if its less convenient.

We were seated in less than half an hour on a very busy Friday night. Finding parking was easy, too. Staff were busy and hustling, but attendant to our requests and needs. I had trouble deciding what I wanted – no fault of the menu – I was just tired after a long day of work. The waiter gave me the extra time I needed without forgetting me. I ordered a chimichanga. It tasted so good. Hot. Deliciosa! Sweet tea was a great accompaniment. My date had a Marguerite with his variety platter. After a relaxing meal, we shared churros. Sorry-I didn’t even think to capture a picture when they arrived. These warm carmel-filled delectables nestled between puffs of whipped creme drizzled with chocolate were irresistibly pretty. We just ate them! A perfect light sweet touch to the end of our cozy and intimate meal together.
