The only reason I’m doing this is that you guys would know check the reviews before you even come here.. I ordered some nachos they cost me over $10 and the portion was extremely small on top and beyond that there was more chips than anything to top it off the cheese was not even melted it was just shredded cheese on top cold!!!!!!! To me it’s disgusting. I had to remake it they melted the cheese on top of the nachos I stuck my fork in there to get a bite and all the cheese came up like if it was a tortilla that means that that cheese is very cheap that that cheese that they’re using is not nacho cheese it’s not real cheese all the cheese came up when I try to get one bite all of it came out my plate I will not go here ever again this is just a heads up for you guys so you won’t go here and waste your money. Other places at del Taco tacos El mismo and El Monte other places you get your nachos and you get them good portion and you get good taste and good flavor and you get quality I didn’t mean to do this but I’m just giving you guys a heads up

Excellent service. Great tacos. Finally, enough cheese and guacamole! Also, I ordered an asada burrito. It was not good. Not bad but not good and the meat was dry. The taco meat is tender but somewhat flavorless. Overall, I will be going back for more tacos and I want to try a breakfast burrito.

10 plus years of eating Baldwin Parks pepes, starting to taste like azusa pepes now; which is not good. 2025 the breakfast burrito recipe had to change it just isn’t the same taste. After 5 attempts i gave up, the burrito failed me each time. Sad to say Me and my family, including my friends will not be going back to pepes in the future. its time to give another place a chance sadly. If you looking for the authentic pepe experience this isn’t the right location anymore.

Went there with my friend who was out of town for dinner. The staff was attentive and friendly. Their food was delicious served hot and fresh. The flavors were spot on. I had gone for breakfast a few days before and ordered the juevos rancheros plate. Again served hot and full of flavor. Fresh and delicious. The employees need a shout out because they are the people that make all this possible.

I really love this place and I am super excited they are now open for dinning in. The food was very amazing as always. There are big changes to the way the dine in works. They have removed the salsa bar and you know have to ask for whatever salsa/sides you want. The have tapped off every other table to ensure safe distancing. They have always been really clean and still managed to step it up the cleaning for everyone’s saftey. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I love coming here and recommend this to everyone.

First review for this location. Stopped by Covina location around 9:30 but they closed early. Waited at drive thru for 5 mins and nothing even though we can see people inside and they saw us. Anyway, they will get my 1 star review later.
Called Baldwin Park to confirm hours and they answered and said they were open until Midnight, so off we went. Very friendly drive thru attendant and was good about confirming our order and total.
Went for taquitos, but ended up ordering asada nachos because of the other reviews and pictures and glad we did. A little too much beans, but otherwise fire. We asked for Chile verde sauce on the side because the GF doesn’t do pork, but they have a version with and one without pork. I suggest you add it right on top cause it made the difference. I wouldn’t say the asada was the best I’ve had or the beans or the green sauce or any other topping for that matter, but the combination works.
We did get the mini taquitos as planned and taco which is my go to, but was so full from nachos that we didn’t eat them until the next day.
Late night Saturday craving satisfied.
Pro tip: they have four different salsas at this location. A bright red (my favorite because it goes well with fried food), a chipotle, a ranchera (next fave) and green (my GF’s fave). Make sure to try them all and choose your favorite.

Pepe’s is just so delicious, I mean look at my food well organized & so amazed by how much meat & chicken they put look at all that CHEESE !!!! YUMMY !!! I order carne asada fries with hand asada & half chicken the BEST combination EVER ! YA’LL NEED TO TRY !! Very clean , they do take there time , staff people are so nice & for a large carne asada fries it was only $8.30 . Great deal ! Definitely coming again.
