It had an amazing salad bar. The food was so fresh and it was very clean. The veggies were very nicely prepared and delicious. I love salad bars and this one was really good. This was the first time we went there but we will be going back.

My wife and I had breakfast on Sunday morning and were pleased with all aspects of our visit. The meals were good, well prepared and adequately proportioned. We both took half home for the next morning.
We were seated promptly (we arrived before 8AM) and our server appeared shortly thereafter. She was attentative and professional. One note: contrary to their postage signage, my wife brought her own tea in a thermo cup in. They charged us for a cup of coffee for her. This is fair because this is a business and bringing our own beverage would have shorted them revenue. We didn’t mind paying the “corkage” so that my wife could enjoy her favorite brand of Irish tea.
This is the only place I’ve seen locally that offers a buffet Saturdays and Sundays starting at 8AM. It has quiche, perogies, waffels and everything in between.

If you don’t like the food don’t you dare say anything. Just eat it or leave it, the management doesn’t care about your personal tastes. You eat their food and like it or they don’t want your business. Also, if you get pancakes with the strawberry topping be prepared for more topping than pancakes. Daughter wouldn’t finish because she said they were soggy.

I have been dining here since they opened many years ago. Like a lot of places, the quality and portion sizes keep going down while the prices go up. I believe this breakfast will be my last time visiting Brookside.
I have never seen eggs this small, and 1 piece of bacon broken in half does not equal 2 pieces of bacon. Also, the French toast used to be on thick cut bread. This was the same bread that they use for regular toast. For a $12 breakfast, I shouldn’t leave hungry. I would have complained to the waitress if I had seen her after she dropped off the food.

I loved this cute restaurant! Seniors eat meals cheaper and their grilled cheese special is delicious! I’d definitely recommend it for a lunch break!
