Everything we tried was up to par but I wasn’t feeling $60 per person (pre-tip) impressed. Yes, we had a bottle of wine which was like 30% of our bill but I just didn’t feel the value. I wasn’t expecting the unlimited bread sticks of fast “Italian” but it was quite sparse. The small portions tasted as if they were “large” if that makes sense. Table bread quite basic but one small price per person, pasta seemed to have been “doneness” to it that I can only describe as prepped in advance. Normally I wouldn’t get pedantic about things like plating but at this price point, I have to be. It was sort of just dropped on the plate. This doesn’t bother me if I paid $20 or less for an entree but more than that, I expect a flick of a towel to clean the outer rim.

I liked it. Don’t get me wrong. I recommend trying it if you’re looking for Italian in the immediate area but I’m not telling all my friends they need to stop in to see what they’ve been missing.

Beautiful restaurant. I loved the piano and the atmosphere. The service was excellent and welcoming. The food was not that good. If you are looking for more authentic Italian, it is not here. The Risotto we got was undercooked. I get you trying to get aldente, but I’d rather eat an overcooked Risotto than chew on hard rice. The seafood was excellent and fresh, but the seasoning was lacking. I wanted to add salt and pepper, and I am not a salty eater. The pasta a la vodka was better, but it did not taste like it had vodka; it tasted more like just a tomato sauce. The chicken was bad; it tasted like chicken, if you know what I mean. It was supposed to be grilled but lacked flavor, even after adding to the alleged vodka sauce. It tasted like old chicken. Unacceptable for a place that has such great reviews. Cheesecake was good, but the “strawberry sauce” was only strawberries? That doesn’t make any sense. Anyways, I am not sure if I would try again. I was very disappointed.

We were seated maybe five minutes after our reservation time, but it wasn’t an especially big deal because we were listening to the live piano music and enjoying ourselves. The complimentary bread was delicious, as was everything we ordered. The hot veggie dip had a little kick to it that we loved. My spicy sausage pizza and my husband’s pasta with sausage and tomatoes were both so good. The tomatoes were so sweet that it balanced the spice perfectly. And then dessert. Yum. We split a piece of cheesecake and it had a perfect golden brown crust to it and the cake was soft and silky. YUM! My only disappointment was I read how delicious the cannolis are and they weren’t serving them the day we went. Oh well… I guess we have to go back!

I stopped by a few weeks ago to pick up an order my wife had placed online. I had won a 75$ gift card at work and our order came to about 65$. I told the 2 young men at the counter to keep the rest as a tip, but they both insisted I grab a dessert from the cooler instead. They said they would rather see us try one their desserts than have a tip. Takel and Matt were so friendly and warm that I felt like they were old friends. They said they were glad we had a chance to try the restaurant and they hoped to see me again – what great people! The meal I brought home was fantastic! The meatballs were seasoned to perfection with a good dose of fennel and the salad was fantastic! There were 4 us and we still had leftovers. The wonderful service and great food made for a wonderful experience! We would recommend Angelina’s Kitchen to anyone!

This is the best Italian bistro in the Twin Cities. From staff to chefs it is amazing. Kim’s twist on salmon and pasta is one of the best meals I have ever had. We have had many meals there (all are great), but this one pushed it over the top. 10 star day and night. Kim, you knocked this out of the park. ❤️❤️

Absolutely perfect experience at Angelina’s Kitchen. The food was outstanding and the service was just as amazing. We’ve had catering from them before, and even after a year they remembered us, which truly shows how exceptional and attentive their team is. You can feel the care and pride they put into everything they do. Highly recommend!

Food was ok, not memorable. Wanted to try new place, menu looked decent. Our bruschetta was very good but thought a bit pricy for the 4 pieces we received. My green salad was good but a lil heavy on the balsamic vinaigrette. Again thought pricy for a half salad. I ordered Chicken Marsala, the breading was too heavy, the Marsala sauce was watery. Not sure if they didn’t properly drain the linguine that it came with. Very disappointed, couldn’t really appreciate the sauce. And to charge $7 for a single small meatball was outrageous. It was very dense and not juicy. Sad to say this is a one and done. I had high hopes for this place.

I’m writing this review the next day as my wife and I left with a dessert to go and wanted to try it before I wrote a review.

I have never been to Angelina’s before and the experience was pretty great overall. When we walked in the host staff were friendly and helpful and escorted us to our table pretty quickly. I noticed the bar had a very nice clean set up and in the main dining area there was a paino player creating some nice tunes that really tied into the vibe.

We started out with the cheese bread and marinara dip and for dinner I ordered the pesto pasta and my wife the alfredo penne. Both dishes with their handmade noodles were delicious, we ate every bite. As it was my birthday dinner the waitress gave me a chocolate cupcake that was mid at best. I was greatful as I didn’t expect it but it seemed very dry and bland. I had a little bit of bourbon before the main course and had a glass of wine with the pasta. I had asked the waitress for a recommendation and she chose well. The food gets a 5 star

I briefly mentioned before that the atmosphere was beautiful, the decore was very modern and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. Overall 5 stars here.

As far as the service goes I usually like to name servers for doing great work but here my wife and I agreed we wouldn’t. Between the 2 of us we have a combined knowledge and experience in restaurants of 20 years. We felt the waitress was lacking in a few areas. She wasn’t very attentive, very soft spoken and hard to hear in a pretty loud environment and even though we piled our dishes at the end of the table to make it easy for her to pre-buss she didn’t do so until the very end when we received the bill. My wife at one point noted ” she wished we had the other waitress at the table next to us.” She did the very basics and for that I give the service a 3 stars.

Now, putting that aside, we still had a great time, the food was amazing and we tried the triple berry cake we ordered togo, this morning which kept well and was packed with flavor.

I recommend this place to anyone in the area or visiting.

We were here 2 weeks in a row. First week great. 2nd time was a let down. Noodles were undercooked. Bread was cold. Sauce was lukewarm. We won’t be back for quite a while!

This was our first time at Angelina’s and definitely won’t be out last. Lovely ambiance. Food was fantastic. The service is friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine on offer.
I also enjoyed the live piano playing. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back.
