Okay experience, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.
Service was pretty poor.
I’m not sure if it was one girl on staff at the time, but everything took much longer than necessary.
Nice atmosphere, food was alright – but nothing to rave about.

Food was great and bar was clean. Bartender did not check in, ignored attempts to flag her down, chatted with patrons next to us (that she seemed to know) whilst ignoring us, and was not friendly when we asked for the check. Overall, love this spot but have never received worse service.

This is kind of a touristy place downtown Bozeman. My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times. The hamburgers are not the best I’ve had, but they’re not the worst either. The fries are pretty typical frozen fries. Like the burgers, they’re not the best nor worst. The beer selection is somewhat limited, but our waitress told me that the other side had a better selection. I asked if she get me a not-IPA dark beer from the other side, and she did 🙂 Like everything in Bozeman, it seems, the food is overpriced. Two burgers, two fries, two beers, and a tip — $53.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Burger Bob’s / The Spur. We walked in, sat at a table, and were not acknowledged a single time. Another group came in after us, sat down, and was helped immediately. Meanwhile, our server walked right past us—twice—and even stopped to check on the table next to us without so much as a “Hi” or “I’ll be right with you.”
We waited ten minutes with zero acknowledgment. Not even a basic greeting. At that point, we got up and left.
We went to Back Country Burger Bar instead, where we received outstanding service and delicious burgers—night and day compared to what we just experienced.
I was born and raised in Montana, have lived in Bozeman for 26 years, and have been to Burger Bob’s many times over the years. After this experience, never again. And I’ll be sure to share this story anytime someone asks where to get a good burger.
Shame on you, Burger Bob’s. The only reason they’re getting one star is because Google won’t let me give zero.

Perfectly cooked salmon. I was shook by how delicious and perfectly cooked the grilled salmon was. When I asked the server what the best meals were she said the Original Bob (burger) and Bob’s Grilled Salmon. We got both and it did not disappoint on either dish! The burger was juicy and seasoned just right to complement the fresh beef, all on a delicious soft bun with crispy fries on the side. I would not have expected to get a salmon dinner when I walked into a burger joint and I could not have been more wrong. The salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly, and seasoned and sauced perfectly to complement the fish and not overpower it in any way. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway through my meal! The atmosphere was fun and the staff were so fun and friendly, and prices were more than reasonable. We will be coming back whenever we visit town!

My waitress Brittney warmly welcomed me and promptly took my food order. I had a Cowboy Bob with an egg. Awesome! The fries were prepared as well as the burger. I finished off my meal with a strawberry shake. Made with Wilcoxson (LIVINGSTON MT) vanilla ice cream, milk and real strawberries… just the kind of meal I was looking for and Brittney just made the whole experience even better with some light converaat.

Burger Bob’s is a cozy bar and American eatery in Bozeman, Montana. A nice spot to grab a delicious burger and enjoy a casual dining experience. If you get the chance to visit, I hope you have a great time savoring their menu!

Absolute waste of time and money. It took forever to be seated, after I was seated it took very long for the waitress to come back again and take the order.
Once the order was finally taken it took at least 30 minutes for the food to be brought out. The burgers were a poor effort, overcooked and dry despite being not very cheap.
It then took another 30 minutes of waiting for the check. Other people around me were also waiting a very long time to pay and leave.
I went here last year as well and it was the same experience. Please go somewhere else you will only be disappointed.
