I got the french dip and wow it was delicious. It was cooked more on the medium side than rare, I would specify your preference to the server. The au jus was savory and rich, the horseradish added a nice heat. The shoestring fries were very yummy too. My mom got the baby back ribs, which she always enjoys.
They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and any issues are handled promptly. I will definitely be coming back!
The filet mignon and pork chop are good. Celebrated a special occasion here and got a free chocolate cake
The bad
Would not recommend the steak frites as it was only seared on one side. Bread is no longer automatically served, you have to ask for it
The ugly
The asparagus appetizer was a complete waste of money as all the hearts were removed, leaving only the inedible shell…
Our waitress brought our drinks and then just… vanished. We waited forever just to put in our food order. When we finally did, we decided to split the lunch special salad, and it was a complete mess. The lettuce tasted like it had been chilling in the fridge overnight, and the chicken was definitely not fresh. The best part? They charged us another $8 to split it, which meant we paid $29 for a super gross appetizer. I know the split charge is on the menu, but paying that much for that kind of quality is just insane.
Then came the main event, the prime rib. This was honestly one of the worst cuts of meat I’ve ever had. It was so full of gristle. I was paying $41 for half a steak. The little bit of edible meat that was left actually tasted decent, but it was hard to care. When I mentioned the gristle to the server, she just gave me a look and asked, “What do you want to do about it?” Like, seriously? Of course I wanted to do something about it, why else would I say anything?
And the cherry on top? When I went to the restroom, I noticed vomit in the sink. It made me wonder if maybe someone else had the lunch special salad, but their portion had been in the fridge for two days instead of just one.
All in all, it was a seriously bad experience. I’m definitely not going back for food, though the place does look nice enough to grab a drink. This location just doesn’t measure up to the one in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton or Colorado at all.
We dined here last year on a trip to West Palm Beach. I forgot what I had eaten for dinner but I do recall the desert!!! Food was great, service was great and prices are really good. We thoroughly enjoyed. Here are some desert photos.
The staff was professional and the experience was very enjoyable.
You have to have the carrot cake! It was warm and tasted like it was freshly prepared.
We ordered the prime rib and the baby back ribs, both of which were very good, though the pepper on the prime rib was stronger then I would prefer. The food came out quickly as well.
Our waiter was very friendly and personable, but it seemed that one of the other table’s guests were known personally, and his attention was focused there for most of the time. We had to wait extended periods of time for service at some times because of this.
Overall our experience was very good, and we are sure that had our waiter not had people he knew occupying his attention, that it would have been a great experience.
Want to stop by for dinner & actually sit.
Bang bang shrimp had a sweetness to it that my husband enjoyed
Smoked fish dipped was really good. Nicely seasoned & Smokey
The steak w/ Mac & cheese was delicious.
My husband enjoyed his salmon.
