I grew up knowing of the family who owned the locations in Torrance and San Pedro, who also have gone on to start all those Burger City Grills.

It’s been destroyed and closed for years, and everything still looks almost exactly like it did the day after the kitchen fire that ruined it was extinguished. There has only been very minor clean-up, and no indication at all that they’ll either rebuild it or tear everything down and sell the location. I get sad every time I drive by since the place was a pretty regular mainstay restaurant for my family when our kids were little.

This place the food doesn’t look like it is going to make you sick . The staff is super cool and cares. No homeless sleeping on the tables . Cleaner and faster. Menu is good . Parking is ok .

Decided to try them out. I ordered a breakfast burrito. A version of the “fantastic burrito” without all the veggies or salsa. I added beans. It was pretty good. I just like my breakfast burritos this way. Their salsa is hand made there and I will want to go back and try it next time. I went when it wasn’t so busy. The staff was quick and personable, not too friendly. Did see an obvious regular come in, they were more friendly with them but that is a normal progression I suppose if you frequent an establishment. Still wouldn’t hurt them to be more outgoing to others that are new or infrequent. Place was clean and well kept.

Pretty good breakfast burrito, wish the eggs were less done, but the fillings for the fantastic are solid: sausage, ham, bacon, hash browns, some diced peppers and tomatos, Mexican shredded cheese is great. Horchata was decent, maybe a tad watery, I like ones with a thicker rice texture. Drive in service went well.

I would give it a 5 but the way they give you the food when you order to go looks like they just through the food in there.
Example : couple of time i order pancakes egg bacon sausage and on one plate tjey put the pancakes with butter , on top of the pancakes they put the eggs the bacon and the sausage. And my burrito was burnt

I loved this place, but the fire happened, and 9 wished they could reopen, but they didn’t, any I moved away to ohio, and I didn’t see any other locations here si it’s sad seeing a master piece being closed

Awesome, cashier was efficient and made sure each order was correct. She asked us how we wanted our steaks and eggs and toast and was very thorough in placing order. She was kind and quick and they made our food so fast and included everything. The only thing we had to ask for was butter. Food was awesome prices were great. Would go again. Highly recommend.

Come hungry to this place as the food is good and the portion size is big. I tried the “Fantastic Burrito” and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. If you’ve concerned about eating too many calories this place is not for you. If you want a good meal and some good bang for your buck, this is the place. I was also impressed by the number of uniformed workers attend here including city workers, truck drivers, delivery drivers, etc…
