I’ve been to Buttered Biscuit before and had good experiences, however this past time I ordered the Sweet Potato Protein Bowl and the chicken was extremely dry and the sweet potatoes too hard to cut through with a fork. After requesting more sauce for the dry chicken, nothing was done to rectify the issue. There was zero seasoning besides the aioli, but the chicken needed to be covered in it to be edible. Overall, this past experience left a bad impression and I don’t plan to return.

Definitely my favorite buttered biscuit location. Management here is always on point. Their staff are always demonstrating top notch customer service. So far everything has been great, but I think their chicken is superior. I do love their biscuits and gravy. Overall this is a great place to enjoy a tasty meal.

Loved being able to visit the Buttered Biscuit in Fayetteville. We travelled from Jonesboro and heard that it was highly recommended, and so we decided to try it out, and we are so glad that we did. When we were arrive it was already pretty busy, so we knew that this place had to be popular for a reason. I love chicken and waffles, and the Buttered Biscuit did not disappoint. The eggs were slightly overdone than what I typically liked, but I was here for the chicken and waffles. The waffles were crisped up so that the chicken doesn’t make them too soggy, and the syrup ties the savory chicken and the sweet waffle together beautifully. I hope the next time I am here we can swing back by, it was great!

Today was rough…
The place is pretty small, there were about 3-4 other tables total sitting. Our waitress took our drink order, about 10 minutes later came back with my latte, it was great! No problem with the wait there, I believe she was the one barista too.
She then took our order, but we didn’t see her again until food was delivered. My Verde Burrito was bad, and that’s being kind. Chicken was tough like it was old, veggies weren’t sautéed completely, no cheese included on top or inside, and a small drizzled of salsa verde on top so it was very dry, no flavor, weird texture with how the chicken was. I took 3 bites, leaving the rest on the plate. My potatoes were okay at best, my bowl had 3-4 full chunks, the rest were the small crumb pieces.
I was hoping to tell my waitress to maybe get a sauce or something to help, but she didn’t come back until she asked us if we were paying together or separate. She asked if I wanted a box, I let her know it was not very good, I did not enjoy it or really touch it. She said “oh okay” then proceeded to tell me my total. $25 per person for subpar meal………

We love eating breakfast here. They have several Gluten Free options and my wife loves their GF biscuits.

Portions are large, coffee is hot and tasty. Bacon is thick and cooked properly

They have numerous butters and jams.
