Great spot for lunch. Ginger chicken (medium) and chicken chili (hot)
Everything was fresh and flavorful. Ginger chicken was well balanced with sweetness and a touch of heat.
Cool outside building -union station
Food came out quickly – servers aren’t very friendly. (The only downside)

My husband and I split a spicy tuna roll, which was good, and split spring rolls. There was a garlic sauce with the spring rolls that were delicious, but it was $8 for 2 of them, which seemed really steep. Then we split the pineapple curry with chicken ($20), which we were really disappointed in. It was very bland, with no spice or flavor. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy their food though, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3. Our server was really nice, which helps.

Unique spot located in old union station. There is garage parking, parking lot parking next to embassy suites ($30), and some street parking for cheap. Service was very slow so if you have timelines at night I recommend shifting it up 30 minutes. The food overall was good, but a few standouts was the crunchy tuna sushi and the ragoons. The rice came out cold and the noodle dishes were decent but not special. The cultural aspects inside are gorgeous. Seating is not a lot so u recommend a reservation.

Will not return. The server was very stand offish and seemed bothered by any question asked. The tom yum soup broth was almost clear definitely not traditional.
The garlic and pepper chicken was flavorless and the chicken was tough with an almost boiled texture. Every other dish we ordered that required sauce had the same flavorless sauce(even though they were different items). There was no spice even though ordered with spice.

We were in the mood for something Asian, and this was close to our hotel. No one gave us recommendations for it, but it was a four star on Google so we figured we would give it a try. There were a couple of large parties in so that slowed down service, but the staff made sure that we were aware that we would not be waiting too long. The portions were great, and the food was not too bad. I will definitely go back here again.

My grandfather recommended this place when we came into Montgomery, Alabama, to visit the museums. The food here is good. We just had a minor misunderstanding. When my nice ordered the fried rice? Yeah, I believe it was called basil fried rice and we were confused with basil chicken. At any other restaurant this would have been. A no issue We tried to return the plate, but the server said they would not refund for the mistake. $200 Lunch

Really neat place for Thai food. Very creative trying in the railroad, especially seeing as how the restaurant is in an old railroad depot. Menu is very vast with a huge selection. Regardless of what you order, the portions are huge!!! Highly recommend this place. You will not leave hungry or disappointed!

Food was absolutely delicious and served quickly! Our waiter was working solo but was still very aware of every tables needs.

Interesting location for a Thai restaurant. Railroad Thai is just that a Thai restaurant located right by the railroad. Its a small little place with its Thai charm. I went when there was a conference going on by the nearby convention center so the place was packed. The service was still accommodating as ever and rushing through as fast as they can
The food selection was a little different for lunch in my eyes. Mainly the rice and pad Thai combo. Like its a lot of carbs and not a lot of meat. I would recommend they give more meat than carbs. Otherwise this is not a bad place.

The most delicious Thai food that we have ever had ( and we’ve had a lot!) from the elegant dining atmosphere to the wait staff to the food itself and all the eclectic decorations this was an absolutely great decision to stop and eat here! We went at 3 which is considered the dinner menu. I’d like to come back and try their lunch menu too. The price was reasonable and a pleasant surprise. A plus is they are located near Riverfront Park and it was an easy walk to enjoy there after our delicious dinner. Thank you, Railroad Thai- we would definitely like to return!
