Last night we had the most incredible meal I have ever had in Prince George. We enjoyed the Valentine’s Day 3 course meal from Chef Warren and went home with leftovers. It was a meal for 2 for $110! Usually that’s the price for 1 person for a really fancy dinner!
The meal started with falafel encrusted lamb chops, the entree was a huge ribeye, scallops, vegetables and croquette. And dessert was pistachio and strawberry cake.
They even had a promotion with a local florist and we ordered a bouquet that was ready for our table when we arrived.
The team at Betulla always knocks our socks off. Thank you for such a lovely evening! ❤️

I attended Betulla Burning on august 29, 2025 at 7 p.m. for dinner. I had come to PG for an IPSC shooting match hosted by the local range. I am from Vernon, about an 8 hour drive away. On entry by myself I was asked if I had a seating preference. I advised I would really like a seat where I could see the food prep area and I was immediately accommodated and not disappointed. I can see straight into the oven as well as the dough prep area. There is a tonne of old world charm going on with that pizza oven. I indurstand it is wood fired. The chef uses long handled spatulas and treats those pizzas with some love. I ordered a pint of deadfal retrogression west coast ipa. It is a nice craft style beer. Refreshing and a little more hoppy that your average canned beveridge. Again service was prompt and pleasant. I also ordered the prosciutto pizza.
Really excellent service throughout my stay. Friendly and welcoming. A cut above for sure. For the owners of Betulla Burning I can’t stress this enough, you have a superior team.
Pizza was great! This business is not in competition with domino’s. This business does not know that Domino’s exists. It is a completely different product. It’s not cheap. At 32$ for a pizza it is not going to hit many budget points. But… its not trying to be cheap, it is trying for a quality point and experience. They do very well on both points. I would absolutely go back. Outstanding place for a social meal or a date.

Amazing pizza I got the margarita with a house wine and it was exactly what I was craving. Soft and crispy yet perfectly chewy crust and their home made ranch is on point.

Had a great meal here on a recent work trip. Awesome pizza oven and warm space. Menu highlights were the fried chicken, pizzas, Korean pork pasta and Italian donuts. Great service and a solid wine list. Also made a good negroni, definitely recommended.

Holly was very welcoming and attentive at the bar. Her recommendations were honestly perfect. We could see she truly cares about creating a good experience just with all the little details.
Chef Warren had created an entirely new menu for Valentine’s. Every dish felt well balanced and curated for the evening. I saw him personally checking in on guests throughout the evening. Holly also had her touch for Valentine’s with edible flowers to certain drinks.
It’s rare to see this level of effort from all staff at the same time. Very grateful for the experience and will definitely be back for more.

Been coming to this restaurant for three years and I love it! The menu is great (even food I don’t think I would like, I love it at BB) , the selection of local drinks/ beers is great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Staff are professional. The weekly deals and happy hour specials are awesome.

From the service to the food to the atmosphere, this was the best dinner experience we have had in years! Our server never missed a beat and took care of all our needs, and did so discreetly so as half the time I would find my water filled and I didn’t even realize it. When we ordered a pizza and didn’t quite like the flavour of it (not due to the cook’s fault, but ultimately ours for not recognizing the cheese being put in the pizza), without hesitation they put together an entirely new pizza for us, free of charge! We did the couples dinner where you get a 3 course meal (appetizer, two mains and a dessert) and we had enough left over for lunch the next day. Food is amazing, quantities generous, easily our favourite restaurant in all of PG. Thanks Betulla Burning for a night to remember!

Visiting Prince George from Vancouver, we were taken to this place by our friend who lives there.
They have ample of seating both on the first floor as well as the second floor. The huge pizza oven is also a feature of the place.
We were there on Tuesday and naturally took advantage of their beer and pizza combo for $21.95. We also ordered their mussel appetizer in white wine, which was the daily special. The mussels were big and plumb, very fresh and the sauce was great to dip with bread. The pizzas were are mostly single serving sizes, thin crispy crust with good ratio of topping. Overall the food was great, but portions are modest.
Service was very solid, we got our food at a good pace throughout the evening as well. It’s a good spot to hang out and we will go back next time we’re at Prince George.
