Visited here with some family who live in Prescott Valley (we’re visiting from San Diego, so we’re used to fantastic Mexican food). None of us had been here before. The staff and service were friendly and swift. Margaritas were great, and we were greeted with chips and salsa. Every dish was scrumptious and felt home made. The staff treated us with warm hospitality as new guests. We will be back and this restaurant will be a staple in our rotation.

It was pretty busy but the wait didn’t seem to be long. I can see why this place is so popular.

Amazing food and even better service! We rolled in with about 30 people right after the Copper State wrestling tournament, just 30 minutes before closing time. Despite the large group and late arrival, the staff treated us like VIPs from the moment we walked in. They handled our big order flawlessly, every single dish came out correct and absolutely delicious. We never felt rushed at all, though we tried to be respectful and eat quickly so they could close up. Highly recommend this spot, they went above and beyond for us! 5 stars all the way.

It was quite crowded when we went on Thursday for dinner.
The shredded beef tacos were delicious, and packed with meat. The tortilla chips were crisp, and the salsa was just right spicy.
The only negative comments I could make are it was very hard to get a refill on drinks and salsa. The server could’ve checked on us a bit more often.
Over all, it was enjoyable and quite tasty.

I dined in at Casa Perez based on my local friends’ recommendation, after enjoying a day of mountain biking in the Prescott pines at the local Bean Peaks riding area. The restaurant was clean and had great ambiance. The wait staff was friendly and the food was prepared surprisingly fast. I chose a shrimp dish while my friends chose a burrito from the lunch menu and a beef dinner. I washed my hands in the bathroom and the mortar sink was adorable enough to take a picture of! I will definitely return to this restaurant!

DUNNYRU was amazing. Actually, everybody that worked there was great even the manager who came to the table was very nice, but our food was, overcooked in seed oil, no flavor , you couldn’t tell the difference between the chili relleno or the enchilada. I liked the beans, but the rice was overcooked. Our plate came to the table that was like 500°. The taco was good. Salsa and guacamole was good as well, but not enough for me to want to venture back there. With Manager stop by to say hello. I let him know what is in my review. He was extremely surprised. I would give it A+ for the employees and decorations are magical.

EDIT: A year later and this is still an excellent choice for authentic Mexican food. The Chile Colorado is just as good as I remembered. The pollo is tender and flavorful. Make sure to save room for fried ice cream!

Chips and salsa were great, Chile Colorado was amazing and the service was astounding!

Will definitely be back for more.
There is a full bar and the food is authentic, you can’t ask for much more than that.

I’m a takeout customer. I sit and enjoy short wait on a bench overlooking such cheerful atmosphere, always highly decorated for holidays too. Love the transition from Christmas to Valentines…Those dining in are all appearing to be very comfortable. Lots of servers too. I’ve tried many, this place is My favorite go to for mexican food.

Wow! Growing up in Arizona, I’ve been around some pretty great Mexican food. This did not disappoint!! Great flavors, very fresh, good size portions, great staff and wonderful drinks. I appreciate that the owner came around and asked how our dinner was. Nice touch.

Excellent combo plate relleno and enchilada and the Carne fries were excellent. The flan was very good as well. Great service! Update: still excellent. Tried a Perez Margarita. Very good! Waitress spaced us out though so we got our own drinks from the bar. So, service slipped a star.
