Texas Roadhouse in Troy, Ohio, delivered exactly the kind of experience you hope for when dining out with family—great food, a lively atmosphere, and attentive service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which set the tone for the meal.

I ordered a hamburger, and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and had that nice char-grilled taste that Texas Roadhouse is known for. The bun was fresh and held up well without being too heavy, and the toppings were crisp and fresh. Sometimes a simple burger can be overlooked at a steakhouse, but this one was done right and hit the spot.

My son decided on the half slab of ribs, and let me just say, he absolutely loved them. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with just the right balance of smokiness and tangy barbecue flavor. He demolished them without leaving much behind, which speaks for itself. The portion was generous, and it’s safe to say the ribs ended up being the highlight of his night.

The sides were also fresh and well-prepared, and the warm rolls with cinnamon butter are always a treat. The service was consistent and friendly, and our server checked in often without being intrusive.

Overall, Texas Roadhouse in Troy gave us a satisfying meal that left everyone happy. Between the perfectly cooked burger, my son’s finger-licking-good ribs, and the upbeat environment, we’ll definitely be coming back.

Nice place been to several others all in all great place food could have been a bit better. Service was pretty good too. First night steak was cooked right but under seasoned and mushrooms and onions were a bit like a salt lick second night the burger was decent.

Came here for dinner on Super Bowl Sunday. Lexi was our server. On first approach I asked her who was going to win. She informed us she did not follow football and asked who we thought was going to win. Seahawks was my answer. Lexi and the rest of the crew who participated in our service all did excellent. Steaks were all fantastic!!! When Lexi laid down the book we all had a nice chuckle.

I recommend this place not only for the food but the great service. Nice job all!

I am so pleased with the service we received at this location. The manager introduced himself to us and our waitress was so attentive. We have lived near the Troy area for years and never knew this location was here until yesterday. We’ve always visited the Huber Heights location but I love that this little gem is so close to home now ❤️ Thank you Troy Texas Roadhouse, for an amazing dining experience yesterday.

Kaylie is fantastic. Shes down to earth, personal, and offers excellent service and advice on menu choices. Not just for kids but from the steak cut choices. Great experience, highly getting seated in her section.

I had a chicken breast with mushrooms that was very good. The rice that came with it was too salty to eat and the macaroni and cheese was the worst I’ve ever had. It just tasted like plain noodles with no flavor and no visible cheese anywhere in the dish. Our server was very nice. The music was far too loud and I felt bad for the servers that had to dance. Serving tables is hard enough without having to stop to dance every 10 minutes.

We waited 45 minutes to be seated, we were finally seated. Krystal was our server. She was attentive, kept rolls, butter, drinks full, got our order correct. However, our 12 year-old ordered med-rare and received a well done 8oz sirloin. Krystal came by to check on us , and steak was sent back. Courtney, food service manager brought steak to table, and had her cut into to check for satisfaction. This was after another young man in blue shirt asked us if everything was alright. The rest of the table was completely done eating by the time the steak was finally served. It was brought to Courtney’s attention. And her response was one of the best examples of poorly executed customer service I have seen in a long time. As a person with 30+ year career in the food service industry, this would not have been appropriate path to be taken. The steak should have been put on the fly and a manager or someone should have stepped up to bring it to the table. This was my 1st time to Texas Roadhouse and I was not impressed

She didn’t treat us like we were keeping her here past her shift she treated us amazing made it very personable. She was extremely attentive i couldn’t have asked for a better server.. or dinning experience. Will definitely be making the 45 mins drive to make this my go to statehouse

Once we got to sit down it was a normal experience. We placed our name on the waitlist since we had a bit of a drive. Our estimated wait time was 45 minutes to an hour. We arrived 30 minutes early to check in so we expected to have to wait 15-30 minutes. As soon as we got there we checked in on our phone and remained in our car. After about 45 minutes, my brother went to ask if the text notifications were working and if we’d be sat soon. The host staff got very rude and said they didn’t know why he was asking as they were ahead of schedule with our wait time. If they wait time had changed we had not been notified. It was my mom’s birthday so I was disappointed with the rude service. Thankfully once we sat down our server was very nice and our food was good. But in the future it is best to over-do your wait times on a busy night. If you don’t people are gonna be upset when they are waiting an additional 30 minutes to be sat on an already long wait time.
