Cozy diner, with tasty food. The service was fast and friendly, Prices were reasonable. It was clean and inviting, we were seated without wait. The food was fresh and flavorful. Servings were plentiful, but no leftovers.

My boyfriend and I had breakfast on a busy Saturday morning at the Highway House. Even with a huge biker group taking up half of the restaurant, the service and the food were great. The wait staff was attentive and took our orders quickly. We both had the French Toast combo, one with berries and cream and one without the fruit. When our food arrived they were both plain, so we told the waitress. She immediately apologized and grabbed the missing toppings for us right away on a separate dish, no problem. Other than that tiny mistake, everything was great. The food was fresh and delicious and the portions left us very full and satisfied. We both look forward to returning again when we visit the area in the future. I love supporting local businesses like this one who give great service and quality meals. I highly recommend

Stopped in after a full day of skiing. Stopped here on the way home. The food was completely satisfactory and the service less so. We sat at the bar and it took over five minutes to be acknowledged, let alone get water or place a cocktail order. All in all, got what we needed and I would return, but this won’t be a required stop on future day trips to the ski hill.

The Highway House Restaurant is about the best thing in Jackson, not counting Trixie Commtaker over at the Pixlie Inn.
I always stop at the Highway House Restaurant because the food is Amazing, as is the service. So, if you want to be treated like family from the first second you walk in..only without the drama hit up the Highway House Restaurant, it is much more than a place to eat, it’s a gathering of friends enjoying a meal. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent food. Waiter was awesome (thank you Eric!) Pork chops are amazing. Drinks were awesome (wife), and my beer was equally wonderful (Night Hike). Truly an enjoyable experience all around, at reasonable pricing.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to have a feeling, healthy lunch at this darling place. Everyone was very friendly. I had a wonderful spinach salad with hard-boiled eggs and a wonderful dressing. I can’t remember all the other goodies that were on it, but it was delicious and fresh!

A good place to eat, if you are traveling in the Jackson area. The staff is courteous and helpful. Highway House has a bar so if you need a cocktail, they have you covered (good Margaritas). You’ll get good portions for the price and very tasty and filling.

Got a couple of sandwiches. $36 for two, so a tad pricey. I liked my turkey avocado melt, but my husband didn’t care for his pastrami. He said almost no dressing, so a little on the dry side. Got these on a take out order. Ready as stated, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I want to try their breakfast next time.
