An odd dine-in experience at Wendy’s San Angelo
My husband and I stopped by for lunch and ordered for dine-in. He politely asked if his burger could be made without cheese, but the cashier said all their burgers “must come with cheese” and couldn’t customize it — which was surprising since most places can easily make small adjustments.
Then, when our order was ready, the cashier called my husband’s name twice. Since he was busy taking his afternoon pills, I went to pick it up for him, but the cashier refused to hand it to me just because the name wasn’t mine. I had to ask my husband to get up just to claim the food — even though the dining area only had about six people inside.
To top it off, the floor was wet, and some tables had spilled water that no one bothered to clean or dry. Overall, the staff seemed inattentive and not very welcoming. Definitely not the kind of experience we expected from Wendy’s.

Ok, hear me out. Best “cheat” treat ever! I figure of I have to go grocery shopping on a Saturday, I might as well treat myself! So I order a large sugar free root beer, easy ice and use my free frosty key tag for a free vanilla frosty. Take a big drink of the root beer, then carefully slide the frosty into the root beer and gently put the lid back on and straw back in and take another big drink. DON’T Push the frosty down in the drink. Just drink enough to be able to put the frosty on top and put the lid on. After the second drink you can stir it around a bit but be ready to drink before you stir! Trust me, you will thank me! So good. It’s like $3.24 and if you do a Med drink it’s like $2.74ish.

I get it fast food is hard, especially when you have 1 car in the drive thru and zero customers inside. Had to go back inside to get the drink I ordered as I was given diet/zero and am ALLERGIC to fake sugar. Got some really old fries and a raw burger.

This Wendys has the best customer service. Everyone is responsive, and service was timely. I ordered breakfast here and well..it just wasn’t the best. The sausage had a dated taste and texture. This held true for all our breakfast sandwiches.The seasoned potatoes were just..ok… It was apparent that they had spent some time under a warmer. The French toast sticks were over done and not fresh. They had a burned taste and they were thrown away. We went about 9:00 a.m. I expected my food to be hot, fresh, and made to order. It fell short this time.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. I never ordered because I walked out since we waited almost 10 minutes to order while the two groups of people in front of us waited longer. Don’t ever go here if you want to eat Fast Food!!!!

I orderd the chicken tenders and it was like rubber my teeth couldn’t even get through it just bounced right off. I was just here yesterday and got the chicken sandwich it was delicious so I thought I’d try the tenders… DONT DO IT . I’m pregnant and I’m still hungry and sad because it wasn’t satisfying at all.. 🙁

I hate leaving negative reviews, but i’ve had one too many issues not to warn the public. I used to love this place, but it’s gone downhill with service and quality. And after tonight, I’ll never order from here again. I’m allergic to cheese, so when I got some on my burger after placing a written digital order without cheese, I thought “that’s ok, mistakes happen” and asked to have it fixed. What was really upsetting is the fact that even though they promised me the order was fixed, I get my replacement burger home and find that they messed up and put cheese on again, then SCRAPED IT OFF and flipped the stuff between the patties like “ha ha, she’ll never know.” They knew I was allergic, but thought that was okay. Fortunatly I won’t be going to the hospital this evening for allergic food poisoning, but I’ll never eat at this store again.
