I visited Sticks’n’Sushi in Cambridge (near University and opposite the Corn Exchange, in the heart of the city’s dining district) twice recently. Once with the team and then on my own and both experiences were excellent. The restaurant has a stylish, contemporary vibe, perfect for both social dinners and relaxed solo meals. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and flavorful, with creative sushi and perfectly grilled sticks.
What really stood out was the friendly and attentive service — warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the location in the city centre makes it a brilliant spot for both work dinners and casual evenings out.
Highly recommended if you’re in Cambridge and craving quality sushi or a fun dining experience! ✨

The food was to an excellent standard. All made freshly and the ambience was perfect. We were seated in the back of the restaurant so were able to see everything get made too! This was a great experience.

I should have wrote this review years ago when I first ever came here back in 2021. I have since gone back every single birthday. If I had to say I missed one place most from living in the UK it would be this place. This is hands down the #1 best sushi I have ever had the pleasure of having. It is a bit on the pricier side which is why it was a birthday treat, but for the quality, the experience, the customer service it is in my opinion worth the price. If I ever get to come back to the UK I will be back here for sure.

The food was fantastic and every piece was presented beautifully, but most of all Rosy our server was amazing. She was so quick and knew everything about the menu. We could see she was serving multiple people but it felt like she was our own private waitress because she had so much speed and could carry so many dishes at once, and filled our water glasses as soon as they were empty. We were so impressed! Thank you Rosy for such a wonderful experience!

The waiting staff were brilliant, I noted that our server was very attentive and would not bother us when he noted we had not yet made a decision on what we were going to have. He made sure everything was topped up and we also shared a couple of laughs, which is something we appreciated a lot.
The food, the FOOD! The presentation was immaculate, a good variety of plates that complimented eachother without tasting repetitive. If this isn’t enough to tell you how great the food was…For the stereotypical woman who offers their partner the food they know they can’t finish, I somehow kept up!
Big thank you to the front of house staff and the chef! – Next time we visit Cambridge, we will be back

When we got in the neighbourhood had just recovered from a powercut, so they were not ready to serve yet, but since it was cold outside, they were lovely and allowed us to sit down and look through the menu until the systems were back up 🙂 We were served by Alessia who was attentive and friendly and guided us through the app.
Although the sushi here is on the more expensive side, the quality and flavours make up for it! The menus were great, especially the veggy/vegan one. Unfortunately I was too busy eating to take pics, which says a lot. Special shout out to the matcha dessert which was divine <3

Good food – I had the robust menu – and a nice atmosphere. I was sat at the bar and could watch cocktails being made. Service was a little peremptory, and I waited 20 minutes to pay, even though I requested the bill three times and was a solo diner.

Was there for a family meal and we relish the opportunity to dine at a Sticks as its always a great time and food is always amazing we must say, the reason this is a 4 star and not a 5 is a couple of menu items we was looking forward to were discontinued but still on the printed menu.

Recently celebrated a family birthday so booked for 7. Excellent service, and it was a very enjoyable night. Our server Rosey, was delightful and made everyone fill comfortable and was very helpful with the many menu choices. Food was lovely and atmosphere great. Highly recommend giving Sticks ‘N’Sushi Cambridge a try.
