That was my first time at Ruth’s Chris and I left satisfied and happy with how the evening went. I’m in El Paso while on business and my wife was visiting for a week so I had to find a place for Thanksgiving dinner and I’m glad I chose this restaurant. It was very clean and welcoming, the host and servers were very friendly and helpful when it came to the menu. the price to quality of food and preparation was superb. They did have a Thanksgiving Day menu available, but we decided on ordering from the standard menu. I had the ribeye and shrimp and my wife had that fillet minion and shrimp. Both cooked to perfection to the doneness that we wanted and the sides were great as well. We had the stuffed mushrooms as the appetizer and the Caesar salad was so delicious. The night ended with a Pumpkin cheesecake and vanilla bean ice cream that left me wanting seconds. I can’t wait to go back and try some more of the dishes and I really appreciate the great customer service.

Let me start off by saying the Three course meal for $60.00 is a nice deal! The steak and shrimp was amazing! I also had the veal ravioli for an appetizer and that veal ravioli was the star of the meal! Ruth Chris should make the Veal Ravioli a meal on its own trust me it’s that good! The garlic mash potatoes were gritty with a little to much butter and the house salad was amazing!

My issue with Ruth Chris is they have an identity crisis. I’m not sure if they want to be a high end steak house or sports bar. You had music playing sports on all the televisions I just did not get the high end steak house feel.

Overall I do recommend eating at Ruth Chris, the food is good

Nice atmosphere, menu was a little overpriced for the selections. Places elegant if you need somewhere to go and you dressed up Ruth’s Chris would be my recommendation with two thumbs up. Our waiter was very attentive to all of our needs.

Always getting my good vegan food here before and after moving away from El Paso five years ago when visiting El Paso. Our waitress Giselle is very attentive and understanding what’s vegan food, and I am very thankful to her. Today I got broccoli steak, sautéed mushrooms and fruits.

Food was amazing prices are a bit steep but quality and taste is what you pay for. The cherry n best part of the dinning experience was our server Marlene. She was tentative and explained everything for a first timer there and her recommendations were on point and she was an overal joy. Fernie was an amazing bartender and drink was steong and just how a drink should be. Try that goat cheese and artichoke dip amazing, lobster mac n cheese superb. Overall experienc3 was great.

For starters I put in a reservation but when I arrived I still had to wait for about an hour before I was able to be seated, the purpose behind a reservation is to avoid a wait. That set the tone for what I never would have expected. Our waitress was totally inattentive we may have seen her 3 times during our time there forgetting things we asked for, never even asked about the experience we were having just all around totally off. The atmosphere was totally unexpected for a place that is held at such a high regard just not as nice inside as one would expect. Which brings me to the food, I had the lamb chops and lobster macaroni and cheese and my date had the ginger fish and lobster macaroni and cheese as well I rated my meal a C+ and my date rated hers a B-. The lobster macaroni and cheese lacked flavor and texture for something that was raved about was definitely disappointing the lamb chops were delicious but could have used a bit more flavor. For our first experience it was enough we decided that going back at least to this Ruth’s Chis just wouldn’t be worth it. Best of luck for anyone else the decides to go here.

I invited a beautiful friend to have a good steak, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Had wine and wonderful conversation. The service was exceptional, Lisa did not miss a beat, amazing service definitely, the food super awesome. Will come back.

Went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Place opens at 4pm and we were there at around 4:05. We were told there was a 20-30 min wait. What?! We later overheard that there was only one server. A lady walked in after us waiting for a party, she only spoke spanish and the host guy rudely told her “i dont speak spanish”…..in El Paso? the front lobby guy? Come on….do better and be nicer about it. The food was as delicious as ever but it took forever to get the check. For the price, better service should be provided
