Did a pick up order through calling…that was easy to place I guess, besides the fact they make hurdles for you to just do it online.

It was our first time there. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The loaded fries were good, they used a melted white cheese on them. And the server was good.

We started our “Eating thru the Alphabet adventure,” with Anchor bar! We’ve never heard of it before, so we we’re excited to give it a try. The food was delicious! We had the queso fries which were the best cheese fries we’ve had before. We both got the roast beef on weck with Mac and cheese and honey bourbon BBQ wings. Absolutely delicious! Our waiter was friendly, patient and attentive. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try more!

Most of the problems were related to service, so difficult to judge fairly. Basically fine. Ordered cheese steak, received chicken.
Ordered mussels, never received.
Everyone asked for ranch, received a mix of blue cheese and ranch.
Kids were getting antsy, so didn’t bother correcting, just made sure we weren’t billed for the mussels.
As usual for chicken sliced so thin, somewhat dry, but fine.
Wings were good, but not to the standard from the original Anchor bar in Buffalo. Slightly under-done as the meat was still sticking to the bones.
Crab pretzel was fine, but a little light on crab for my liking, and certainly not ‘giant’ like you would imagine a Bavarian pretzel.
Chili was decent. More of a soup-style pretty heavy on tomato, which isn’t my personal preference, but nothing wrong with it.
But kids thoroughly enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs, so not a disaster.

The wings were pretty good. The pizza was a little above a frozen pizza. The roast beef on weck, this is where it went really downhill. To quote Rodney Dangerfield; Tell the chef this is low grade dog food, the meat still had marks from the jockey hitting it. It wasn’t edible. So tough and veiny that it all came out of the sandwich in the two bites I took before abandoning it completely. The bun also missed the true WNY mark with a massive amount of caraway seeds. The waitresses were very attentive and polite. I didn’t complain about the sandwich and just buried it under a napkin for it’s trip to the dumpster long after it should have already been there.

First time stopping in as it was close to the hotel. Sat at the bar and the service was amazing.. we ordered and the order was wrong but they were quick to correct and make sure we were happy. Friendly atmosphere and beers were good.. will be coming back when we are in the area. Thanks for the great service ladies!!

Went to this place because we wanted a taste of home. Wife really wanted pizza logs. Whatever we got, weren’t pizza logs, at least not pizza logs I’ve ever seen in Buffalo. They were huge, but they were definitely flavorful. She enjoyed them more than I did. Wings were decent, typical anchor bar wings in my opinion. Fries were sub par. Wife said beef on weck was good.

Stopped by on a Sunday night to watch March Madness and try out the famous wings.
Arrived and were seated immediately. Jennifer was our waitress and she was excellent. Attentive and very communicative about everything.
For dinner we started out with the mozzarella sticks. Loved the dipping sauce. For wings we had medium boneless, lemon pepper traditional and honey bourbon bbq traditional. They all had great flavor, especially the lemon pepper. I do have to say that the boneless wings were large. Much bigger in size than you get at other restaurants. For dessert we had the strawberry shortcake and mint Oreo milkshake. The strawberry shortcake was outstanding. We also had the Cancun Crush!
The restaurant is huge. Lots of areas for dinning. Tons of screens and great views from every seat.
Overall a great meal to have while watching sports with excellent service and great desserts!

Loved the food. But not happy with the management my wife is allergic to onions ordered spaghetti got a hint of onion had the waitress check with the kitchen they said their might be a chance it could of came in contact with some so she asked if they could take that off an she get something else to be safe an they told her she could get something else an pay for both.
