Hailey was our server and she was fantastic! She was attentive and prompt with her service. She recommended the fish fry which we both tried and really enjoyed the deep fried cod.
The haystack onion rings we’re good but a little thick compared to my favorite ones.
The pretzel bites were subpar compared to Culver’s. They were good even if they didn’t have salt on them.
I liked the coleslaw and the rye bread were both tasty.
The fried cod was very good. The batter was crispy and the fish flavorful and Flaky.
The loaded baked potato was flavorful and had REAL bacon on it!
I would definitely have it again on a Friday night.

Went in Sunday night at 6, there was only a couple people at the bar and 2 other tables. we wanted to sit at a high top in the bar. There were five of us. The hostess was extremely lazy, just threw a chair at the end of the table, instead of pushing the tables together, which we proceeded to do while they stood there and stared at us. Bartender was nice but slow. Ordered a few burger and a rice chicken bowl, took 45 minutes!!! Came out ice cold, my bacon blue cheese burger was so over cooked it was like jerky. Rice in my daughters bowl was super cold it was sticky like straight out of the fridge! $115 bill. The only thing fresh and delicious was my glass of cabernet. No we didn’t complain, we were starving and waited so long & he didn’t come back to check on us till our food was mostly gone. I actually couldn’t finish my burger because it was to darn tough. Extremely sad and frustrating to try to go out to a family dinner and immediately have buyers remorse because the food quality is so bad.

I came and scoped out the place before the lunch hour and talked with the Manager and Kitchen manager to see how food was prepared because of our unique diet needs. The kitchen manager was amazing and he knew their food products very well. We don’t eat pork or shrimp, and their kitchen setup allows them to prepare most of the food separately. Anything fried (fried chips, French fries, etc) is a no-go because of the shrimp cross contamination. We returned after the lunch hour to order our food. My children loved their meals. My 7 year old gobbled the chicken salad that they made specifically for him. Our waitress was very good. The music was too loud and lyrics were too annoying for our party. If we are in Plover tho, and need a place to eat, I would definitely return.

Enjoyed our food, and the service was good! We came on a slower night, so there was barely anyone here.

So delicious! Tasted very fresh, and I wanted more.
– Fried Pickles
It was good. I think we ordered a half order.
– Daily Special Burger
Super yummy. This was a special burger that they had. There was a sunny side up egg, slices of ham, and pulled pork. Side sauce of BBQ sauce, and some potato chips on the side. Chips were a bit stale, as if they’ve been sitting for a while.
– Crispy Chicken Mac’n Cheese
Super cheesy and delicious! Hot sauce on the side for extra flavor.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would come here again to try more things.

We have come here quite a few times, mainly for the Monkey Fries as they are my wife’s favorite. Their cheese curds are also a top tier item.

The burgers are about the size of a fast food burger. I was expecting more the size of Milwaukee Burger. Especially for the price.
They obviously want you to fill up on fries or chips as you get a large portion of those. Although it’s an extra charge for fries.
The posted pictures of the burgers are deceiving. They really are small.
Two burgers, one with chips, one with an upcharge for fries, 2 glasses of water, 2 slices of cheesecake.
Total bill $51 not including tip.
Not trying to be stingy, but with a bill like this I’m not tipping 20% anymore. No matter how good the service is.
I personally don’t recommend Monk’s.

Sorry….I usually am pretty nice about reviews. But I went there a few days ago and I was not happy. Maybe 3 people in the place. At first it took about 10 minutes for the bartender to come into the bar and wait on me. I was getting food to go and it was terrible. A club sandwich and a smash burger with fries. I got it back to the hotel and honestly threw most of it away. No flavor at all on the burger and the club was very bland …. the fries looked good but tasted like they were from the day before and re heated? We won’t be back
