Gave the 1 star because I ordered a meal, sat in the drive thru line for nearly 30 minutes only to drive off with 3 of the 4 items I paid for and ordered. The polite young man that took my order also cashed me out, prepared my food and handed it to me out of the window. It seemed as if he was the only employee present at the restaurant. For those wondering why I didn’t check the bag before driving off. Well, the bag felt as if all items were in it when I pulled off, only for me to drive home and find out that it was stuffed with about 30 napkins. Not pleased with the inconvenience I’ll choose a different option next time.

I ordered the Hot ‘N Spicy $5 bundle and was supposed to receive 4 nuggets, but they were missing from my order. I tried going back through the drive-thru, but the line was extremely long and not moving at all, so I decided to go inside instead.

I waited in the lobby for about 27 minutes along with several other customers. During that time, employees and managers were arguing and yelling at each other behind the counter. They clearly saw customers waiting in the lobby, yet no one acknowledged us, helped us, or even explained what was going on.

After waiting that long without any service or communication, I ended up leaving without the missing food item. This was a very unprofessional and disappointing experience, especially for something that should’ve been a quick fix. Customer service here definitely needs improvement.

Totally upsetting McDonald’s:
Definitely wasn’t greeted with a ☺️. I received very POOR Customer Service, which occured when an employee failed to assist me concerning the Kiosk. After long waits, unhelpful and rude staff, being ignored repeatedly, lack of empathy, and unresolved issues with me as a customer, it stems from issues like under-trained employees that definitely CAN’T multi-task. DO BETTER MCDONALD’S EMPLOYEES…

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. They have never been able to get my order right on the first go and I’m always having to get my food remade. I mostly order two hot-n-spicys and a large fry, nothing complicated, and my sandwiches are wrong every time and the fries are never cooked all the way. The staff for taking a drive through order always seems to be in a bad mood and rushes you through your entire order. I live near here and it seems like in order to have a decent experience I have to drive out of my way to a different location. I would recommend anyone else to do the same. Avoid this location at all costs.

Update: I contacted Corporate Customer Service regarding the terrible quality of food and the lack of pride and customer service at this location. Corporate believes receiving bad quality food is the fault of the delivery service (Door Dash here). I will no longer order McDelivery through the app and will no longer patronize this location until changes are made. If you think I’m wrong or my situation is isolated to only me, read other reviews. 0 stars.

Attn: Franchise owner and management, Either I’m the only one with bad luck, or you do this to a lot of people…
The reputation of McDonald’s and the name brand they’ve created over the decades can only carry you so far. Just wait until corporate reads these reviews. You don’t deserve the franchise.

02/14/2026 Decided to give McDelivery another chance. Look at the quality of the small dried-out patty on this Big Mac. This McDonald’s location is the WORST McDonald’s EVER!!! They pump out quantity in exchange for quality. Do NOT go to this location. There are better fast fastfood places to choose from in Elmwood nearby. Also check out the picture of the McDOUBLE – with only a single patty on a stale hard bun.

02l13/2026 Another McDelivery gone wrong. Take a look at the pictures of the top half of my Big Mac. The McDonald’s location is a sad joke.

I ordered McDelivery from this location. McDonald’s contracts DoorDash to do their deliveries in my area. This McDonald’s messed up my order and the DoorDasher was there over 30 minutes waiting for my food, got tired of waiting and cancelled my whole order. The DoorDasher shouldn’t have cancelled my order. The problem was this McDonald’s taking so long. If I was there myself, I would have left and disputed the charge with my bank. This location gets very busy and apparently gets overwhelmed. They can’t function under stress. Too many customers causes them to mess up orders, take way too long and apparently they just emotionally shut down. If they look busy, pass this McDonald’s up and go somewhere else. If they don’t look busy, you can gamble and take a chance if you want to. There are too many other restaurants nearby to get caught up here.

I thought I would grab a quick breakfast to go before my work day began. I should’ve known by the vehicles idling in the drive thru that this location had issues. So I decided to go in because I thought it would be faster. It took the cashier about 7 minutes just to help the customer in front of me. When she got his order together, she just walked away from the register like I wasn’t there. When she finally my order, she dropped my tea on the counter without informing me that it was mine. After a couple of minutes, I just picked it up and walked over to get a straw. I almost walked into the mop bucket that was there. No one was mopping at the time. The condiment station was hot mess. It just looked filthy and unkept. That was the moment I knew I had take pictures to document my visit. As I looked around I found more filth and cleaning items unmanned. I had time on my hands while I waited on my order. No big order, just hot cakes and sausage. I noticed the cooking tray with dirty water sitting on customer eating table. The drunk counter looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days. Now this was about 9:30 am. No one moved with a sense of urgency. About 5 minutes later I received my order and was out the door. I don’t recommend the Mickie Dee’s in Elmwood to anyone. I hadn’t visited in months. It’ll be years now.

Did a mobile order for two ranch snack wraps and two double cheeseburgers. When I got to the squawk box to tell them my code, two employees we’re messing around with each other while on me microphones for the box. When I was finally able to get up to the window to get my food, they tried to hand me another person’s food after a 10 minute wait at the window, then took another 5 minutes to get my food to me.

I ordered two double cheeseburgers and two ranch snack wraps. Would I received was to spicy snack wraps and two dry McDoubles.

This location seems to consistently have problems getting orders right.

Waited over 10mins at the counter never not once acknowledged. Everyone huddled around looking at a cell phone and kept looking over at me. When I asked for assistance I got an attitude and a reply “where you come from diddin see you”. What a complete joke. Will never ever return. Complete mess in there also. Worse place I’ve ever been, the lady at the register made me wait 4 mins. To order because she was texting on her phone. Once I was able to order when she got off the phone she was rude as hell. 26 min to fill order and then the fries were not cooked so 3 people asked for new fries and one of the workers yell this is BS. It is truly a bad place to go don’t waste your time stopping
