The food was so delicious as someone who can’t handle hot spice, you can ask for a mild version of the sauce so you can enjoy the flavors without sweating at the table. The service was amazing, very sweet, attentive staff! We visited during the holidays and enjoyed the decorations. Will definitely be back!

I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt this one was needed. I travel to Boston maybe once or twice a month and almost every time we make it a point to come here for dinner. The food is by far some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The staff is always so friendly and the service is always so fast. I’ve tried plenty of different things here and have never left unsatisfied. For anyone looking for a filling and delicious dinner, this is the place to go to!

I rarely veer away from my standard “breakfast food.” However, this morning I was met with Huevos Rancheros con Chorizo. Not too spicy, flavorful refried beans, perfectly cooked eggs. This is my second visit here…I will come back! Please, stop in and enjoy thier hospitality!!

Love this place so much when I’m in the area. Forever favorites are chips and guac and a spicy margarita, Chorizo burrito and spicy margarita, another spicy margarita while I decide if I want real dessert or my go-to, one of the best espresso martini’s I’ve ever had. And of course, a nice walk back to my friends house through the heights. The best to go on a beautiful day or evening and sit outside or catch live music and a cool local vibe. Highly recommend!

So happy we found this place. Great service, mole poblano and pipian mole rojos both fantastic and true to flavors we had in Puebla. Tortillas with the house specialties are handmade. Solid mezcal list. Literally only complaint is that to-go containers were styrofoam. We will be back!

I’ve been coming to Angela’s Cafe for years and I always enjoy my experience. The staff is consistently welcoming, friendly, and they truly treat their customers well. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and tastes like real, authentic Mexican cooking.
With two Mexican restaurants so close to each other, it can be hard to choose, but in my opinion Angela’s Cafe stands out. I’ve also tried Taqueria Jalisco, and while everyone has their own taste, I personally prefer the authenticity and overall experience at Angela’s Cafe.

Last Sunday, my wife and I visited Angela’s on the recommendation of one of my best friends, who is Mexican. We went straight from Logan Airport, making it our very first stop in Massachusetts, and it was more than amazing. The service from the hosts was excellent; they chatted with us and even gave us great recommendations about the area. They also kindly stored our luggage while we enjoyed our meal. Their names were Jenny and Tamara, and it was truly wonderful. The chilaquiles were ABSOLUTELY delicious! No doubts 5/5 ⭐️

Viviana was our server and she gave us an amazing experience! We had the chilaquiles with green salsa (not too spicy, but super delicious!).
I 100% recommend getting them with chicken or chorizo. At the end, Viviana suggested we try the churros—10/10!

Pickup order of 2 Shrimp Tacos and 1 Steak Taco was absolutley DELICIOUS. I selected 1 tortilla only on each and it was perfect! I’ve passed by a few times and always wondered about this place, today it did NOT DISSAPOINT!!! Great quick lunch option, healthy & fresh too. Will 100% keep this on my go-to list. I also really appreciate the 2 salsas on the side and utensils because I didn’t even have to ask for them! <3

One of the Crown Jewels of East Boston! The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is amazing, well priced, and was very filling – which is exactly what you need on a bitter winter night. It was lovely chatting with staff and their recommendations were appreciated! Will be going back soon!!
