Amazing little place to have breakfast and lunch. Like walking into the past with food to good to be true. Great group of people who are having a great time serving the best breakfast you can find anywhere. The pancakes are out of this world, with blueberries or apple cinnamon, my favorites. Friendly atmosphere and fast service. They definitely get you in and out quickly.

If you are anywhere near South Jersey, you need to make this a priority. The hot cakes (pancakes) were amazing. I was so excited to try them I forgot to snap a pic before and you can see how much I ate before I grabbed a pic. They are thin, but have substance. They are the best I’ve ever had. The sausage links and eggs were very good as well. The service was super fast, and very helpful and friendly staff. (we visited on Labor Day for brunch and it was completely full)

Always crowded makes it hard to enjoy the food. We were literally sitting in the back room with 2 strangers at out table. If you like light, thin, crepe like pancakes here they are. The chipped beef on toast leaves much to be desired very few and small pieces of meat crumbs. Coffee was great! Not a bad place but it definitely is not the original Gilchrist.

I really love this place, is pretty cozy and everytime I go, we have a quick and good service. My favorite is the hungry man combo, specially the home fries that come with it. Their pancakes are thin and made with locally grown blueberry when available. Honestly putting tables outside made it better. Weekends are a little crowded but I don’t mind waiting, waiting is good…you wait for good things
