Sunday Funday Dinner was not as usual!! The waitress was excellent—very attentive and professional. Unfortunately, the experience with the chef was disappointing. The food presentation did not meet expectations. One guest was shorted on their steak order, despite it being included in their meal selection, and an entire item from the Imperial Meal was missing from another plate (as shown in the photo). Even the children’s portions were inconsistent, as reflected in the picture to the right.
The portion sizes did not align with the prices charged, and overall value was lacking. To make matters worse, the chef admitted to the mistake and laughed about it rather than handling it professionally. While the gratuity was removed after we raised the concern, the experience left us very disappointed.

We had the pleasure of being served by Marvin. He did a great job. Was very accommodating and very friendly. Also, the manager came to check on us and they attended us even though we showed up right before closing. The food was great. The customer service was even better. Overall a great experience can’t wait to come with the fam bam

Loved the whole experience. Took a large party and was sat immediately. Jonathan was a great chef and the food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back. Try the plum wine if you like sweet things. I had the Shogun Combo loved the whole experience and I’ve been to a few hibachi grills. Attentive staff was my favorite part besides the food. Very accommodating as well.

The Tappenyaki chef was really personable. We had our own chef because no one else was seated with us. He was very friendly and was able to give us exactly what we wanted. The food was good because he also does it for a living. Overall the experience was good. I have no complaints. They have large portions!

Came in for date night with my husband and we were so happy with the service we got from Dustin. He was so attentive and friendly. Come in and ask for him, you’ll enjoy your delicious meal. Food was so delicious and my sushi tasted so fresh. Overall we enjoyed our food and drinks.

We’re visiting from out of town and chose this place for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn’t terribly busy. Which was great. We were seated right away. But then it took anyone a really long time to greet us at our table. 3 different servers came up and asked us if our server had been over yet. One of them even took our drink order but never brought them to us. So finally our server greets us and says how sorry she was she got caught up with another table blah blah blah. Honestly I could care less, but no need to for any excuses. I simply said no worries and continued to give her not only our drink orders but also food orders, because it had been that long that we had waited. She finally starts bringing out our food one by one. Everything was good. Typical food and taste for this type of place. But her service was so slow we had to wait 3 separate times to flag her down for more water. At one point I contemplated getting up and just getting it myself. She took for ever to bring the bill. Shocker. I literally shoved my card at her so I didn’t waste anymore time. We were just so ready to leave at that point.
Long story short.
Horrible service.
Decent food.
Would I go back? Ehhhhhh I’d probably go somewhere else.

My family and I have been here many times and today we went in to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We were a large group of 10 and although our chef was pleasant, he burnt all the food and it was all very very bland! This is the first time we didn’t like our food. The chef also didn’t really interact or do a “show,” it was very lackluster. As I said we’ve been here many times and today was just not it. We were told that the restaurant is under new management and some of the food items have changed. I hope management provides better training for the cooks because if this is the new standard I don’t see myself and my family returning. We also noticed that prices have increased but the lack of flavor and burnt food was such a disappointment.

Food was pretty good and plenty of it, little to much salt on the lobster for my taste. The place is really looking run down tho. Looks like they haven’t done a thing to it since we were there 10 years ago!

I enjoyed the musical display when it came to putting on a show for meals and how well, the chef tried his best to make sure the food is prepared properly. It is a bit pricey, but it is entertaining.

Everything was great with the exception of the lighting… 4th visit from out of state visiting. They’re consistent regardless of the chef or host… Professional, courteous, and provided for a very entertaining and delicious dinner… Will be back for the 5th…
