Fujiyama is always fun with a largeish group for the hibachi. This visit out chef was impressive as usual. I have yo say I was not sure about diverting from our norm of steak or chicken but I tried the salmon and it was excellent, I have a new favorite.

First time at Fujiyama and it won’t be our last!! The food was amazing, the hibachi chef was entertaining, and the atmosphere was great! Big portions and all prepared to perfection. I would highly recommend Fujiyama. It’s great for groups as well. There was a party of 11 that was seated perfectly. I hate that I didn’t take any pics, but the pics others have posted are great.

Overall, it was a great dining experience. The kids always enjoy coming here, especially to watch the chefs cook hibachi-style right in front of them. The chef was very entertaining and kept everyone engaged throughout the meal. The food was tasty, and it’s worth noting that an automatic 18% gratuity is added to the check—understandable, as the chefs are not just cooking, but putting on a performance as well.

I’ve eaten here so many times. Outstanding sushi. Really solid textures. Just reliable. It’s been around so long that once or twice we had a halfway not-excellent meal, but they have consistently delivered great sushi for the past 5 years.
We had their hibachi once or twice. It’s fine. The show, like any tempanyaki, is the experience.

My wife and I love hibachi. Decided to come here after reviewing several highly rated hibachi restaurants. The atmosphere was not what I was expecting, felt more like a bar than a hibachi restaurant. While the portion size was amazing for the cost, the food was super mid. The sauces to pair with the hibachi were terrible and the food just didn’t have much flavor.

I made reservations for a party of 13 at 7pm for my daughter’s 16th birthday. When I get to the restaurant I was told they could only seat 8 people and the rest of the party would have to wait until a table became available. I declined that offer. 45 minutes later several other people entering were seated. I spoke with a manager who told that a party was 40 minutes late and that was the issues. I explained that had nothing to do with me, when I initialized made made reservation and asked for an earlier time they told me I would have to wait to 7pm. I will DO NOT RECOMMEND! To think they gave me a different time and still did not honor the time they provided. I rate them a 0 out of 10!

Generous portions. Good sushi, large portions given the price. The miso soup is rich and flavorful. It’s probably my favorite so far in MKE. Chicken Katsu was good, but I prefer Kawa’s more. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The food arrived in a good pace.

Tonight was my first experience dining at this establishment, and I must say I was extremely pleased! Great food and service, my two younger children enjoyed themselves as well! I definitely will be returning in the near future!
