I am blown away by how beautiful every part of this restaurant is. 3 levels, and there is so much space and attention to detail. The interior is absolutely incredible, the service is super attentive and friendly, and just everything was 100/100. The Persian espresso martinis – OMG! The lamb and saffron rice were amazing. First 2 floors are dining, 3rd floor is a BEAUTIFUL lounge for fun and live music. I love this restaurant and found my new favorite place in all of DC – we are OBSESSED! Thank you!

I’ve seen this place on social media and finally had the chance to check it out and the food, service, & atmosphere did not disappoint! We got a bunch of food items and some of my favorites were the Mirza Ghasemi, Tachin, & saffron ice cream. The drinks including the Lavashak cocktail were really tasty as well. The ambience was lowlit and intimate and the waitstaff were lovely.

Amazing spot. We had beef and chicken kebob. They comes with rice, marinated cabbage, onion. You also get little bowl with spicy, very aromatic herbal sos. Plus amazing honey cake (medovik like in Eastern Europe) and Napoleon. These 2 is hard to find in US. Highly recommended!

I recommend to begin the journey with a Ranginak Old Fashioned. You will instantly realize the attention to detail with the fabulous Persian food you are about to enjoy. The watermelon and feta salad explodes in your mouth, followed by the combination platter so you don’t have to decide and you completely give in to the experience. I tried a red sour beer to go with lamb chops. The owner brought a nice treat of homemade hot sauce and I was at the apex of my meal. Lots of great desserts choices and I finished it all off with a Persian affogato. What a meal!! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant here in our nations capital. If you are lucky Yoseph will be your guide.

Incredible restaurant. Appetizers, bread, dip and main courses were all superb! Wait staff is very friendly. Food comes out in a timely manner and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is well decorated. Great for a 3rd or 4th date spot. The cocktails are crafted carefully and taste delicious!

Darvish Kitchen is amazing! We celebrated my friend’s birthday there over the weekend, and I tried their Branzino for the main course. It was cooked to perfection, and it was one of the best branzinos I ever had! Their appetizers were incredible, especially the Koofteh Tabrizi, which was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem! I couldn’t resist visiting after hearing raving reviews. The food was delicious, and the service was great. But what truly set this place apart was its ambiance. It’s a beautiful representation of Persian culture, with intricate details and nostalgic touches that transport you back to old Iran. The experience of exploring the restaurant was just as enjoyable as the food. I’ll definitely be returning!

Wow, this place is amazing! We ate here Sunday night and everything was perfect. The food was unbelievably good, full of flavor, and you can tell it’s made with care. The staff was so friendly and attentive the whole time. The chef even came out to talk to us, which was such a nice touch, he was so kind. You can feel the pride and love in everything they do here. Easily one of the better meals I’ve had in D.C.! We got the Cornish hen for dinner and meatball appetizer. They were both delicious but just Cornish hen was incredible!

It was so good and so cute. We upgraded our rice to one with dates and raisins. We had a chicken and a beef that was marinated in pomegranate – both excellent. The bread was meh but maybe ours was too crispy. Good service. I’d go back

Can you say, Oh my gosh! Love the ambience of this very creative piece of vintage decor. It takes you in time to another place. Must experience.

Let’s talk about the Food!

I ordered the very traditional chicken kabob — served with grilled tomatoes, red cabbage, onions, fresh bread, and garlic sauce. And of course, I needed my martini 🙂 Later, I enjoyed some black tea.
