Nous servons une cuisine composée uniquement de produits frais et de saison. Tous les produits arrivent bruts et sont transformés sur place. Nous n’avons ni micro-onde ni congélateur (sauf pour la glace artisanale). La plupart des produits proviennent du marché, de la criée ou de producteurs locaux avec qui nous travaillons en direct. Very nice restaurant. Good atmosphere. Not formal and Original dishes. Unexpected combinations of French and foreign influences. Had excellent starters and great main dish of very tender and juicy chicken. Also the pork sirloin was good. Good pouly fume. Had dinner with party of five. Not busy in the beginning but restaurant filled up very quickly around 8pm.

Prao was recommended to us by a local who called it his favourite for him and his wife. We’re glad we went as our lunch was fantastic. The restaurant was quiet when we went and quickly filled up on a Monday. We both had the 3 course menu (passed on cheese course as too much food). My husband also had a glass of organic red with his lamb. Both wine and food were delicious, fresh, seasonal. We were also pleasantly surprised and welcomed the variety and abundance of vegetables! Service was solid. Light on wait staff but food came out in a timely manner even during lunch rush. We would go back if it weren’t for the many other great restaurants in La Rochelle and our short stay. Kudos to the female chefs in the kitchen.

A real gem of a restaurant in La Rochelle. Wonderful atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. The menu is relatively small but there is still plenty of choice and variety. Service was really good and the food was excellent – innovative, tasty and well presented. Good choice of wines and drinks also available. We will definitely return and heartily recommend this restaurant.

Limited menu but outstanding imaginative dishes. Friendly efficient service. Fine dining at a reasonable price. Out of the way of the immediate port side area and favourite with the locals. Absolutely recommended. 5 stars all the way. Chapeau!!!
One addition – we went again two days later and on the menu was Langue du Chat – a rare cut of beef from the rump. I have never tasted it before but WOW – that is a meal I will never forget – it was sublime! And thankyou to the girl who wrote down the recipe for the cocktail.

Nice atmosphere nice food and nice wine, the restaurant is located a bit outside from the busy streets of the center in a calm street. The menu is nice especially the meat, fish is not the best choice here.

This place is delicious and the staff is so friendly! I read about it in a random blog someone made online as a suggested place to eat in La Rochelle and I am so glad I went! The menu changes daily and all the food is locally sourced. The chef is excellent and so is the wine! The portions are more than generous and everything is so reasonably priced. Would recommend 100%.
