I used to order once a week from them and the food is delicious, when they get it right. This last year more than 3 times they messed up my order thru Door Dash. I never had problems ever till this last year. Every time I order a grilled buffalo chicken sandwich, they either give me fried chicken ( which I don’t like) or a buffalo wrap. I love their food but I am extremely frustrated. I tried again today and got a wrap instead of my grilled chicken sandwich. I hadn’t ordered since May but I thought I would give them one last try. I don’t know if I will order again for awhile. I really wish they could have people double or triple check orders. It’s super frustrating to be starving and waiting an hour for your delivery to discover it was screwed up again…

Love the food. The whole operation is missing organization though. We were seated to a table in the back room, had to wait between 10-15 minutes to be greeted/asked what we wanted to drink, when our food was brought out we first got 2 of 4 meals, then the third meal came out about 5-10 minutes later, but the last meal came out about 15-20 minutes later. Not a good experience, I’ll give the waitress props for getting a discount/comp on some of our food.
They have the wait staff bus their own tables (would be a lot more efficient if they had other staff bussing tables, so people wouldn’t be forgotten in the back room).

First time in, wont be my last. Strictly out of curiosity of all the options.

I had a ham and cheese omlette, and it barely had cheese in it. All cheese on the outside, none inside. All the ham kinda fell loosely on my plate.

However, the staff were great. The food orders did take quite a bit of time to come out. But the atmosphere was plenty to enjoy in the mean time.

The other food options have me very curious to try. Just wont order an omlette again.

Disclaimer: This is based solely on my experiences alone. This review is in no way, shape or form, meant to offend or discourage anyone.

I used to frequent Weggy’s. Back in the day, you know a “nice” morning, after a night out. I definitely was there for their drink deals.

Anyway, to the original point…

1. Always friendly service. (Would always come check on me, would let me eat outside if I wanted -and still come check on me-.)
2. Great drinks, and prices, (when I was into that)
3. Bomb food. (Can be high calorie and you know it’s not Michelin so it’s honest work.)
People were normally polite and added to the atmosphere. Other times they would just blatantly stare directly at me.

Hopefully they recognize some of the lower reviews and will be able to work through these challenges. As those need attention too, it’s a business at the end of the day. The first thing we learnt in the kitchen is (washing hands) good customer service skills.

God bless, may you receive the love you give.

Im not sure what happened, but since we’ve been coming here the food and service has gotten worse + worse.

The hostest was in sweatpants + sweatshirt with a hickie on her neck, and moved with ZERO since of urgency with a line out the door, to the point People left. (It was a Thursday morning, around 930am). Went to order our drinks, they were not only out of the pony beers for bloody Mary’s, but the next 3 beers I pick they were also out of. We also sat for about 10 minutes before our drink order was take by a male server, then a female came out and took it again, about 3 minutes later. We waited for our bloodys + when they arrived there was so much crushed ice, I would call it a bloody Mary slushi.

Tables piled with dirty dishes and not one server moved with any urgency. We got our food, it was cold, which only got colder as we waited because she had to run back for forks , but didnt bring the in knives, so she had to go back again.
I also as for a second cup to move some ice from the Slushi bloodymary, she did bring it, but it was dirty, so I just ordered a carbliss, they carry a bunch of flavors, which would have been great, but, only had 3 flavors on hand and only 1 of one flavor.

Mind you the whole time we are watching lines form longer and People leaving. They had tables up top + behind a chain, but didnt seem to want to seat those areas.
I wouldnt have known the hostest worked there beside the note pad in her hand… A weggies sweatshirt or something so we can tell you actually work there would be helpful.

Don’t get me wrong I know its up by campus, but people of all ages go there.
Im not sure if their trucks didn’t come, the employees don’t care, they were hung over, understaffed or what the situation was, but I truly hope they get it figured out, because it use to be such a great breakfast spot.

Went there last night. Place was about 1/2 full or less. Took us over an hour to get our order and when it arrived it was cold, the bacon had a weird taste and couldn’t eat it and our order wasn’t complete. Couldn’t eat most of our order. Left hungry and left very disappointed as we have visited this establishment a few times in the past and it was always very good. Will not go again. Terrible service.

First time here. Is atmosphere and service were great. Food was good although the hash browns could be cooked a little more and our sausage languagere cold and had to be sent back but were promptly corrected. Other than that great place to eat.

Was great food and cooked to perfection. Fresh, plenty of flavor, and big portions. Service was good and very polite. Definitely will be returning to try more menu options.

“This yolk is over-easy and This bacon’s done right”

It’s not just food. It’s Releggion ‍

This one’s been a while in the making ⏰ check out the lineup from 3 visits:

The Brunkie Fresh baked biscuits, sausage patties and eggs, on hash browns covered in gravy

Lobster Benedict with lobster, house-made hollandaise, and hash browns

The Tater Skillet Buffalo infused tater tots with nacho cheese and homemade ranch dressing, sauteed tomatoes, green pepper, onions and bacon topped with eggs and toast

The Belly Buster Hash browns covered with cheese, sauteed onion, green peppers, tomatoes and bacon, topped with eggs and toast

If there’s two things this place has right, they are variety and quantity! From donut breakfast sandwiches to waffles to lobster Benedicts, you could try something entirely new every trip here And everything looks/sounds super good

I tried the Lobster Benedict first, which I have never seen on a MN menu! It wasn’t the highest quality seafood, but it was perfectly fine for the price and the Hollandaise was hands-down delicious

The Belly Buster was my second selection ✌️ It’s just the best mess you’ll meet Everything kinda got lost in the breakfast sauce, but I ain’t complainin’. SO much cheese…

And my final and favorite food, the Tater skillet Loved the logic of buffalo-infused tater tots; the taste was totally there, as was a slight kick! This was similar to the Belly Buster, the buffalo tots coming in as the dividing difference of deliciousness

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the Brunkie… but boy does it take the title as the Breakfast Biscuit BOMB! My dining dude Cody called in no complaints on this creation. Until next time, brother biscuit, when perhaps my fork will meet your flakiness…

I’d call Weggy’s a very fairly priced, uber unique, cozy hometown greasy spoon Stop by not for a elegant composed culinary experience, but to catch up with the old crew over a cup of coffee and comfort food!

The hostess was ok, despite the fact that she was clearly very sick. Red nose, crusty in her nose, coughing etc. She took my order; advsd. it would be 15 mins. I came back 15 mins later, waited 7 minutes before being greeted. I asked about my food, and she went back to ask the “chef” who at the time was an African American male, with Glasses and a black shirt. He commenced to yell at her in full view. It sounded like he was shouting at her because he was busy or something along those lines, but it was extremely off putting and unneeded. I watched him put something into my boxs then pass them on, so in theory the food should have been hot and fresh

**The Food**

After all that BS, the food came out of the kitchen and straight to me COLD as ice and bland. Un toasted bread, burnt meat, 0 seasoning – I can’t think of another way to say this, so I apologize. But it seemed like food an older individual who prefers no seasoning >.> would be ok with- All around a shitty experience.

**The Pros**

The sick hostess who was nice despite the fact that she had more boogers in and around her nose than my 6 year old son
