La Caille is a great location for tourists and locals who are looking for a fine dining experience. Situated at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, we are approximately twenty minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and just ten minutes from some of Utah’s world-renowned ski areas. The restaurant opened in 1975 and still retains its original Country French charm and eccentricities. La Caille presents fine dining dinners and brunch on the weekends. The upscale French restaurant offers a locally grown and seasonal menu. Be sure to also visit our gorgeous winery and vineyard. The perfect location for booking weddings and special events!

My girlfriend and I went to La Caille for an early Valentines Dinner and we had an amazing time! The food was amazing as always. Our waiter Beau, his assistant Kingston, and the entire wait staff that helped serve us were courteous, respectful, and did a great job ensuring we had everything we needed (without being overbearing). La Caille is a wonderful place to celebrate special moments, and the staff definitely helped create one for us tonight!

La Caille is one of those rare venues that feels magical in every season and at every turn. As a wedding photographer, I am always thrilled when a couple chooses this location because there is truly no limit to the beautiful backdrops it offers. From the lush gardens to the European inspired architecture to the warm, inviting indoor spaces, I could photograph here all day and still discover new corners to fall in love with. The images I am sharing are a perfect example of how effortlessly stunning this venue is.
Stephanie is absolutely incredible to work with and brings an energy that every couple deserves on their wedding day. She is the ultimate hype girl, making you feel confident, celebrated, and completely taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism make the entire experience seamless.

The atmosphere and facilities were amazing. Unbelievably beautiful grounds. Troy was a fantastic and informative host. The food was unique and will have me coming back for more. We had mussels, thick flamed bacon, beet salad with goat cheese. For main entrees, I had lobster risotto and my wife had the chicken ratatouille. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was impeccable! My glass was always full and plates cleared so fast. Carissa our server was so amazing! The food was incredible, highly recommend the lobster bisque and filet mignon! We will be back!

Wish I could’ve given more stars but it just disappointed. We loved the lobster bisque – that was the best thing of the entire evening. The potato croquette wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad either. The halibut was very dry and the whole dish was very bland. I was so disappointed. The risotto was okay but not great; it was also bland. Our server took a while getting back to us and wasn’t super attentive. I asked the server questions about the menu and the server gave very vague answers that did not help at all (I asked what the shrimp and potatoes were like and the server just said “just like potatoes with shrimp”, so I wasn’t expecting mashed potatoes with pieces of shrimp in it, I was expecting cubed potatoes, etc). I don’t want to be rude but for $250, I was very disappointed. Especially in the food. Never coming here again which is sad because it is a beautiful place.

Elizabeth, who was happy to answer all of our questions, including what she recommended, talked about the chefs with such admiration and was very sweet to us from the moment we walked in to the moment we left.
Darby was incredibly knowledgeable about what she was serving, and always made sure we had everything we needed.
Shawn our sever was amazing, charismatic and really made us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant.
Having staff like this really elevated the incredible food and atmosphere of La Caille, we will be back!

I had an amazing experience at La Caille. We tried many food items and everything was delicious, but in particular Darby did an excellent presentation of the bacon appetizer where she lit the rosemary on fire. The food spoke for itself, but the service was phenomenal. Hannah made us feel right at home when we arrived, helping us find our party in the secrets bar. Noah made us the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. Once we were seated for dinner, Tailer was attentive and had great suggestions for us when we were torn on what to order. Miguel made sure that we were well taken care of as well. Between the service and the food, this was an unforgettable experience.

La Caille. Where do I start. We had our wedding here and it was just absolutely 10/10, I have zero negative things to say about this venue. Seriously. The 5 stars is mainly because of Stephanie, she is hands down the best, most accommodating, helpful, sweetest wedding coordinator I’ve met. Brides, this is important when looking for a venue! From making us feel like family, to accommodating all of our needs, she made our special day feel so streamline and stress free. She was there every step of the way to answer questions, relay information and coordinate with our wedding planner. This venue has so many options and price variations to suite your preferences. Thank you La Caille and Stephanie for making our dreams come true come true!
