The first time I had panera, I had a bad experience, the only thing good was the Mac and cheese. I ordered their sandwiches, and a mango smoothie, with the Mac and cheese. Only the Mac and cheese was enjoyable, the mango milkshake was disgusting and pasty, made your throat filled like it was being filled with glue, made my stomach hurt.
But, today I was hungry, desperate and wanted the Mac and cheese again and wanted to try their cookies this time, I also gave their strawberry and banana smoothie a chance, after all not a lot of places know how to make good mango smoothies since it’s seasonal. Fair, but this time the experience was far worse. Got burnt bread that I couldn’t even chew through, the smoothie again was pasty and felt like glue. The taste was artificial. I had a sandwich with eggs in it and the eggs were not completely cooked. The cookie, also disgusting, either not completely baked itself or just horrible ingredients because it had the same texture as dirt and the frosting disgusting. Disregard the review that was posted too early.

This location tends to get busy with all the students nearby, so perhaps others have experienced the rush and the reviews reflect that… but for me, I order ahead on the app, and it is always on time, hot, and fresh. The staff is always friendly, warm, and welcoming. They are quick to problem-solve if you have an issue.

Possibly the worst Panera in the chain?
We’re middle aged locals. Our last three experiences have all been similarly terrible. We will not be retuning to this location.
No one at the front of the house to where we had to call out to someone in the back to simply take our order.
Minimal communication and/or reading skills to where ordering something as simple as soup is difficult for staff.
All orders prepared incorrectly/missing elements.
Dinning room a total mess; food/trash covered tables, visible food on floor and overfilled dirty dish areas. Our last time there we took 35 minutes to eat and no staff member entered the dinning room…
People allowed to lotter for possible hours at a time. These are not customers/not buying any food/beverage.
Lottering/transient people pasted out/asleep at tables.
Others there to conduct personal business/use the Wi-Fi; taking up two tables with their devises and or paperwork. One time we walked past it 2.5 hours after we ate and saw the same people at the same tables.
We brought the above to the attention of a couple staff claiming to be management but nothing gets done.
The management/staff at this location have created a dirty, sketchy to borderline unsafe environment…

Went after work to purchase a get ,2 which was a ciabatta sandwich with the French dip and a chicken noodle soup. The only thing good about this combo was the chicken noodle soup. The ciabatta bread was so flat I saw her wrapping it in the paper but I didn’t think anything of it then when I got home all the way to hallandale there was hardly any meat on this bread no cheese and definitely no aioli sauce. Oh yes and let’s talk about the French onion soup supposedly for you to dip your sandwich when I open the cover it was thick and I thought it was actually gravy and then when I put my spoon in it would stick because it was all onion. I’m so sorry I didn’t take pictures of this I’m just so exhausted from work and to be honest didn’t even finish this meal. I always go to my local one in hallandale Beach and it’s beautiful the sandwich is a great and the service is excellent but unfortunately this location which was close to where I was having a meeting was horrendous. I’ll never step foot in there again and as a matter of fact if a manager reads this may I get a refund? Worst money ever spent on a sandwich

Very slow service. Absent kiosk to order and with always one cashier at register, you have to spend a lot of time waiting on simple order like cup of coffee.
About coffee: 9 am morning and ALL buckets with hot coffee are holding lukewarm content. I could use it as cold coffee, because ice coffee smells like burnt rubber and tastes like dark liquid with sweet taste, but far from coffee. I wonder why they saying that they have to brew coffee, I think it is just mix powder in the water

My food took a long time, but the disturbing part was that the same person who made my sandwich was later sent to clean the toilets while wearing the same apron. I just don’t think those two things should mix.
Shame on management! I do not blame on the poor kids that work there. They just follow instructions.

Adult and homeless daycare with some over priced/poorly prepared food by careless untrained staff in a dirty environment.

I appreciate the friendly staff, but I’ve noticed recurring issues with the coffee being cold and the microwave being dirty, smelly, and missing its turning button. These seem like small fixes that could greatly improve the experience. I hope the company can prioritize maintaining these basic amenities.

First time trying Panera Bread. Horrible. They don’t refill the sodas for the soda machines, all tasted like carbonated water. The person that was preparing my food left my food to the side for a whole 5 minutes and we were standing right there the guy didn’t even acknowledge us nor called out the name we had to ask if that was our food order as well, they even forgot to put the sides on our order. Unsatisfied with this place!
